Hi there, how are you?
How was the rest of your ‘Magical March’? Mine was really good, just got a little bit too busy towards the end, wasn’t sure if I was coming or going!
I went up to the new BBC headquarters in Manchester to do a speech at a big broadcasting event, which was great fun. Saw lots of old friends and met lots of new ones too. Here’s a picture of the event leaflet – I was the ‘poster boy’. Fame at last! Haha!
Did you catch the last Barbel Drexel show on QVC? I really enjoyed presenting it with lovely Tania from the brand, and will be hosting it again on Thursday 16th April. I have been much better at taking my supplements and will talk more about this during the show. You can see me in the photo with the myriad of vitamins I am taking. It’s actually fairly easy once you get used to it.
How was your Easter? Mine was wonderful. It started the weekend before Easter when I spent Sunday with my friend Emma (I call her place the healing house of Hackney as the house has amazing energy). She baked an Easter cake complete with icing and mini eggs, yum! Easter weekend itself was a wonderful mixture of being at QVC and being with my family who came to stay. Here are some pictures of the weekend, which included a lovely dog walk on Hampstead Heath with my niece Jasmine and friend Leonie, a family afternoon walk by the river in London, and lots of fun at home dancing, playing games and eating Easter eggs!
I count myself as blessed to have such an amazing family who I adore and I try not to ever take them for granted. Every moment with them is precious.
So, what are your plans for the rest of April? I am planning on getting back into yoga as I have let that slip recently. I am also considering starting Christianne Wolff’s Body Rescue again or at least the detox part of it. I will let you know how I get on.
Finally to end on a musical interlude here is a link to a track performed by my friend and QVC colleague Justine Balmer. What an incredible talent she is – enjoy!!
Big hugs and do post a comment, I reply to them all.
