B&W TSV clutch bagWho needs Bonfire Night to have sparklers? Not me! I'm looking forward to Monday midnight to share with you some Butler & Wilson sparklers – the Today's Special Value is gorgeous.

It's a one of his fabulous evening bags and is available in a choice of four colours. There is multi, clear, grey and the one I think you will all LOVE (I know I do) is the red, a stunning orangey red.

Whichever you choose would be perfect for the Christmas party season and 'the price is right' at just under £45!! I know, how amazing is that?!?! There are lots of brand new pieces in the show and of course plenty of 'banter' so I hope you will be able to join Simon and I.

Talking of 'sparklers', did you see the ring I was wearing last night during the Home Baking show? Oh WOW! Ten carats of AAA Tanzanite. It's expensive at over £11,000 but if you're looking for something to invest a windfall into, watch tonight's Hong Kong Jewellery Fair show at 8pm.

Just wearing the ring for a couple of days has felt really special, I can only imagine what it would be like to own!

Have a good weekend, loveJulia x

    Hi Julia
Oooh love the look of the B&W bag! Definitely perfect for Christmas parties. Think I may be tempted by the grey or the multi! Decisions, decisions lol!
BCC night was a huge success, I managed to order my B&W pin before the show as I knew it would sell out soon! I also ordered a few other things as it was all for a good cause. Ali looked amazing too!
Returning to your book, if you do have a book signing at B&W that would great! It’s a shame I don’t live closer to London!
Enjoy the weekend. Lots of good shows coming up.

    Hi Julie,
The bag looks stunning from Simon, he does make some lovely things, I have a couple of his bags and they are really super. Look forward to seeing you and Simon together again, you always seem to have a lot of fun together. Yes I did see the Tanzanite ring you were wearing, it was gorgeous, could not stretch to that amount, I have some Tanzanite jewellery but not that expensive, mind you what I have is beautiful and always gets admired. It is certainly an investment buying a stunning piece like that. Have a good weekend and enjoy your shows with Simon.
    Love Jean X

    Hi Julia
What absolutely brilliant news re Simon’s up and coming TSV. You are so right Julia its the orangey red for me – and under £45(a little ode to the past when you said “the price is right” – i bet you didnt even notice that one) – what a bargainx Simon’s pieces are all so well made and the designs are to die for – everything from the smallest novelty pin to a massive coutour piece you can always guarentee that if Mr Wilson has had something to do with it – it will be beautiful, well made, well priced and very classy. Simon knows his customer base and always takes the current economic downturn into account when making and pricing his items – the man’s a genius – love him and his jewellery and acessories(and the way he loves cats and talks about Timmy who he obviously misses like madxx). I watched you the other night on the calico fudge/cookie hour – my mouth was watering as everything looked scrummy – i could see how much you enjoyed the cookiesxx Now an 11,000 triple A Tanzinite ring sounds unbelievable and beautiful – i hope whoever managed to buy it really enjoys itx All my “good” jewellery which i inherited from grandmothers and mother is in the safe – the fashion jewellery of today(i’ve got a Lori Griener free standing cabinet full of the stuff to prove it) and QVC’s diamonique is so good and very beautiful that wearing the pieces daily is so easy and if the worst happens and i lose a piece then its not as bad financially as losing a real gold/gems piece. Your looking good Juliax(as always). Look after yourself and speak on your next blogx Love Linda,Glasgowxx

That ring is to die for. I saw it when Dale’ icious was on with it last week. I was nearly phoning in for it, especially when Dale said he would deliver it personally!!!! Short of a windfall though I’m afraid. Look forward to seeing you on air on Monday/Tuesday.

    Hi Alana
The multi is very B & W, colourful and eyecatching, the grey is more subtle ( if a sparkly bag can be ) but is stunning!
Hope you enjoy the shows – text in if you decide to go for one!

You are right about Simon, I think he does try to offer the ‘best’ prices he can because he wants as many people as possible to enjoy his designs.
The ‘price is right’ was deliberate I’m afraid – I am in book writing mode and I have just been writing Chapter Thirty four ( the number of episodes I did of the P is R!)
I know what you mean about wearing your ‘real’ jewellery – I am always more worried in my diamonds ( not that I have many ) than my Diamonique!

    Hi Julia
I know I know I couldnt resist though! Yeah I saw the Palace goals on soccer Sunday. Good win for you guys. Troule is the better you do the more the vultures will circle with January in mind/ Hopefully no repeat of the relegation battle from last season. Things can change so quick in the Championship though its a really tough league.
Yes you heard right Julia. We lost a last minute goal at home to St Mirren. This would be frustrating enough to draw with them at the best of times but it came on the back of Celtic dropping more points(they drew 3-3 after being 3 down at half time) so we rather let them off the hook and could have moved 12 in front at the top( of Celtic anyway Motherwell are 2nd!. It sounds daft but by the end of Saturday because of how the two games went it felt like we had lost and they had won! Still…. we remain 10 points ahead but we missed out on a chance to pile on the pressure. We now have two tough away fixtures coming up so it was all a tad frustrating on Saturday as you can mybe guess!!
We play Liverpool in a friendly tomorrow at Ibrox so that should be good.
Take care and keep looking fab! Got to keep the flattery going!

    Hi Julia
Where has the time gone? Managed to catch the end of your last show with Simon…he had some lovely things and you wear some lovely dresses when you’re on together. I daren’t spend a penny more at the moment, need to catch up with all the easy pays of late eeek!!
Watched the Zumba yesterday and had a little go at my own pace, afraid the hopping side is out, but I can still wiggle the old hips. Although I was quite stiff from cleaning all the windows the day before, which normally wouldn’t be too bad, but some are very old and have secondary glazing which you need to lift out to clean both sides, then the window itself and there’s at least seven of those…no wonder I’m stiff!!!
Getting back to Zumba, are there any plans to also bring the clothing range to QVC, I think it would make a killing, going by the number of outfits the girls/guys wore throghout the day, they were certainly bright and we all need something to give us a lift at this time of year…just a thought!
Bobby had his little girlyfriends, Katie and Sophie (2 little westies) visit at the weekend, poor little chap, he didn’t know which way to turn and both kept growling at him to put him in his place…he was beside himself when they left! Katie is the one that we found a home for when Doreen went to sleep and she has settled in so well after stressing out looking after her Mum and has stopped chewing her paws, which she did until they bled, poor thing, she is sooo chilled now.

We beat Liverpool 1-0. It was a pretty low key affair to be honest but still good to get a win. It was freezing on the night too and even my curry and beer before the game didnt help much!!! Andy Carroll played up front with Craig Bellamy but he wasnt that sharp to be honest. Bellamy got a fair bit of stick because he had a loan spell with our great rivals a few years back

I only caught the tail-end of your conversation with Simon on Tuesday. I was under my hood dryer in my velcros at the time (very glamorous, lol!) watching but not listening. Did you see my ‘Who’s Lola Rose’ text?!! Chris sent it for me, I HATE texting!
I managed to resist the bag. Not because I didn’t want it, believe me I WANTED it. But rather because it’s been a rather expensive month with Chris’ 40th birthday trip to London. It would definitely have been the red bag for me. Maybe next time if it comes back, especially if it’s on EZee pays – gets me every time! Speaking of which, I was doing really well sitting on my hands until that Hot Pick magnetic clasp necklace last night. It looked sooooooooooooooo good on you, I just HAD to have it!
You looked stunning in your lilac. I can so see why you love purple shades, they really suit your colouring. And I’m sooooooooooooo jealous of your cleavage!!!
I’m very sorry to have to report that the Silver Fox did not indulge me by showing his knees. Very disappointing. Sort him out Julia!

    Hi Annette
I am really not sure Zumba is for you just yet – I struggle with some of the hopping moves on my weaker leg. I mentioned on air that I hurt my hip a couple of weeks ago, just after I came back from holiday actually. I could barely move with the pain but it seems to have eased off now – we don’t appreciate our health until we don’t have it!
The dress I was wearing or the launch of the B & W TSV was a 1920’s original – I don’t wear it often as I don’t want to spoil it, but it was perfect with the bag.

Mr Milsom actually picked up an injury yesterday following a tackle from one of our players Steven Naismith. Unforunately for us it looks as if Nasiy has hurt himself too during the challenge and could be out for some time. It was a nasty one for Rob too. Taking my blue glasses off for a sec I hope they both have a speedy recovery. We won 2-1 and are now twelve ahead of Celtic who dropped more points by drawing 0-0 at home to Hibs. Motherwell are 2nd only 9 behind us!. Celtic play Motherwell at Fir Park(Motherwell’s home) next week. Mr Lennon is on a sticky wicket methinks :D What a shame………

We didn’t manage to get tickets to the England v Spain game as a lot of tickets were sold so there were fewer ‘freebies’ for the FA Coaches. Everyone criticised the game, but I think Capello played exactly the right tactics – watched it on the box after swapping my shift to do an early!
Palace had a hiccup at the weekend against Leicester so we have slipped a bit and are currently outside the play off places.

No problems Julia Im very impressed you still took the time to reply. Thanks for that. I have been desperate to speak to you because both of our teams have ‘slippped’ a little bit and i reckon its because I havent spoke to yourself!! Our lead is down to seven points and Celtic could cut it 4 on Saturday as we don’t play until Sunday. They played their game in hand last night and won. I think I was maybe counting my chickens slightly before. We play Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday. I’m off to that one.
Millwall is a massive game for palace. Is it not like the big derby for you guys?
England did really well against Spain. Ramngers drew 0-0 with Barcelona a few years ago at Ibrox and like England were also heavily criticised by some. At the end of the day Footbal is sometimes more about getting results than entertaining people.
PS Does that not make England unofficial World Champions…. can’t believe I just said that!!!
