Some of my most favourite shows ever on this week for Best of British!

Lulu Guinness, Nails Inc and Clogau Gold!!

Hi all, hope you've been enjoying some sunshine where you are. It's been almost like summer here in the South.

I am thrilled to be presenting the 6pm and 9pm Lulu Guinness hours tomorrow (wednesday). I presented her first show on QVC and we had sold out of everything within around 40 minutes! I love working with her as she is such a great person with a fabulous character. I had never seen handbags and purses which had struck such a chord whithin me!! They are so glam, distinctive, quirky, stylish, collectable and classy. Her Today's Special Value is the first leather one she has brought to us and is just so droolworthy! How on this Earth will I possibly resist?

Lulu & Me Being a qualified nail technician I really enjoy the top nailcare brands we have at QVC. At 10pm I will be treated to an hour of Nails Inc. Fabulous on trend colours which flow easily onto the nail. I really enjoy their formulations which have quite a viscous consistency as this prevents streaking and allows the polish to 'self level' beautifully. Great colours for summer and some mind blowing deals thanks to our savvy buying department!

To round off Best of British Day I will be joined by Julian Roberts for an hour of Clogau Welsh Gold at 11pm. It truly is in a class all of its own. The integrity of design, quality of materials and associations with royalty make it a regal must have for the gold connoisseur. For me it also has a personal connection as my partner and his family are from Wales. I appreciate the pride of the Welsh and have visited many historic sacred sites there. I'm proud to be considered 'honorary Welsh' and am still tackling learning the language!

I'll also have another hour Clogau at 8pm on friday so that's one for the diary if you're also a fan.

What are you looking forward to most on our Best of British Day? I'll see you there!!

Love Catherine x

PS…I attended my first ever Welsh rugby match to watch my partner Steve singing on the pitch in the Six Nations Wales v Italy game at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. He's in a choir called 'Eschoir'…here they are and here's me sporting my honorary Welsh pride!!

    Hello Catherine,
Iv’e not written to you before but have watched you tonight presenting ‘Art Scape’.
I have purchased quite a few of these tops and love them all. The quality of the cotton is beautiful. However I would like to see more of them depicting the lovely scenery we have in Great Britain ie country cottages in devon and summerset or perhaps the beaches and surfers of cornwall. There are some lovely places in Scotland, wales and Ireland too that could be featured on the T shirts and tops. Could you possibly pass this request on to ‘Art Scape’ and your buyers please.I enjoyed your show. You always seem so up beat and cheer me up.Keep looking gorgeous. Love jen x

    Hi Julie,
Oh yes it was quite a rainy day but the sun popped out a few times and the atmosphere was sunny the whole time :-) It was such a great day.
Yes, Tom has decided on Glamorgan Uni. I still can’t believe he’ll be 18 in July! They have grown up in a flash. I know he will love it there but don’t know quite how much of a shock to the system it will be to have to do his own shopping, washing etc!!
Thank Lexi for the kisses, too! I hope all’s going as well as can be for her.
Much love to you Julie, always nice to hear from you.

    Hi Teresa,
Thanks for writing in. Lovely to hear from a fellow feline fanatic! Well done to you for doing such an important job. I really am humbled by people like you who dedicate themselves to caring for either animals, children or anyone (any animal) that is in need.
I have to sort my facebook page out..I’ve neglected it rather a bit! I have one which is only open to family & friends but I really ought to sort the other and put some kitty pics on. I’ll definately have a look at your page, though. I never get bored of looking at cats!
Keep up the good work & love to all there with you.
    Love Catherine x

    Hi Jen,
Thank you very much for writing in. It’s great to hear from you.
I have copied your blog post and emailed it to the Artscapes buying team. I think your suggestions are wonderful! I really hope we will see them come to life in the future.
I’d love to see some old Scottish castles or rolling Welsh hills and imagine the greens you could have in a wearable tribute to the ‘Emerald Isle’!
We’ll both have to keep our eye out for future designs as I know the buyers welcome feedback and frequently act on it.
Thanks also for your kind words about me, you made my day.
    Keep in touch!
    Much love,
    Catherine x
