Handy Multi-Tool

A sneak peek at the Handy Multi-Tool for gardens

We’re all keen gardeners here at Q Towers, it’s hard not to be when working with fantastic brands such as Richard Jackson, Hayloft Plants, and Mont Rose of Guernsey. We’re also big fans of anything that saves time and money. We look for handy gadgets that are multi-taskers, which is why we had to tell you about Sunday 28th February’s, Today’s Special Value offer – the Handy 4-in-1 Multi-Tool.

It features a power unit with a 26cc engine and fits interchangeable garden tools that are easy to switch between; including a line trimmer for long grass, a pole pruner for tall trees, a hedge cutter and a brush cutter for difficult, overgrown brush areas.

Derek Belcher, Chairman of Handy’s, was kind enough to tell us a bit more about the history behind the Multi-Tool.

The original idea was to have one engine to power all your garden power tools.  Why service and care for four engines when it can all be done by one?  It has proved to be a winner for us as a company and for our customers.  I use a Multi-Tool myself and find it has all the power I need for light and heavy  duty jobs.  I love having all four attachments at my disposal to pick up and do the job at hand.  The power unit is so easy to start and for that reason you actually want to do the job, not put it off, as so many people do when a machine is difficult to work with. The Multi-Tool makes it a pleasure to keep the garden pristine.

Handy Multi-Tool

Our company was founded in 1938 and we have sold garden machinery now for over 70 years.  We are passionate about our own products.  We have a team of customer service staff who only deal with machinery and are knowledgeable of the products and will help with any problem, from the most simple to the most technical.

I have personally been selling garden machinery for over 50 years and the Handy Multi-Tool is one of our best-selling products.  It is also one of our most versatile products, doing the hedge cutting, pruning, grass cutting and cutting back the brambles and overgrown areas.  All with the one power unit!
With regards to changing from one attachment to the other, it really is so easy – promise!  It takes about 20 seconds and will encourage you to use the right tool for the job in hand.  So many people tell me they don’t know how they managed without their Handy Multi-Tool.

If Derek’s words have put you in the gardening frame of mind, check out our Garden Department now to find all you need. And don’t forget to tune in from midnight on Sunday to see Handy’s Multi-Tool in action.
