Next Tuesday we’ll have a Today’s Special Value offer from Attitudes by Renée – it’s a long line tunic top with a collar and a faux placket down the front.
Flattering, timeless and stylish, this tunic top can be worn with flats and statement jewellery for a laidback look, or you could grab a gold-tone belt to accent your waistline, adding a feminine edge.
We caught up with the lady herself to find out more about her own personal style and just what she loves about fashion and style.
Describe your style in three words:
Classic, sophisticated, sexy
I’ve loved fashion since…
When I was 16 my aunt gave me one of her Chanel jackets… I knew fashion was my life!
My fashion inspiration:
Donna Karan for her understanding of women and the simplicity of how to express yourself. I have followed her since she was designing for Anne Klein… I also love Elsa Schiaparelli and her use of lip prints, which is my trademark.
Most memorable career moment (so far!):
Being dressed by Hermés for the costume ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
A fashion rule you love to break:
Wearing white after Labour Day! There are no real rules when it comes to fashion. Have fun!
Best piece of fashion advice:
Style is not about size, it’s about ATTITUDE
My last splurge purchase:
A bag that will last me a lifetime
You’d be surprised to know that….
I am a great cook and find the art of cooking to be most therapeutic.
The moment when I was most star struck:
OMG – there are a lot! Once Diana Ross and I went for the same hanger for a dress. Getting a kiss on the hand from Anthony Hopkins in a restaurant. Getting praised by Tom Ford at the Met with another kiss on the hand which I did not want to wash!
Monte Carlo by helicopter
The best concert I’ve ever been to:
Barbara Streisand, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart to name a few.
The first place I visit when I’m in town (London):
Zuma for my sushi fix and Harvey Nichols for my fashion fix
Tune in from Midnight on Tuesday 19th April then throughout the day to discover more about Renée’s Today’s Special Value offer.
