Sneak a peek at Monday’s Fuji special offer

Fuji bridge cameraEver wanted to capture those special moments with professional results? Well you don't need to hire a pro, you can do it yourself with this Monday's brilliant Fuji FinePix S1 bridge camera Today's Special Value offer – the first weather-resistant model of its class!

Don't believe us? Well we've enlisted our resident camera pro to tell you how you really can produce picture-perfect memories without all the expensive kit. Here's Mat Trim to tell you more…

Mat Trim"As QVC’s photo expert for many years, I have presented hundreds of camera, many of which have been bridge cameras, and the S1 is THE best one by FAR.

The first thing you notice when you it pick is the quality of construction; it really feels well put together and handles like a dream! Surprisingly for the first time, this bridge camera is weather resistant – I’ll have to go out and shoot in all conditions now and can’t blame the weather anymore.

As with all Fuji cameras, they make sure the absolute beginner can pick it up and get great shots first time. The SR AUTO function is foolproof and the camera knows exactly what you are pointing at – even pets!

The Fuji FinePix S1 has many groundbreaking features which I have never seen on a camera before and one of those is 'time-lapse'. This allows you to make movies of very slow-moving subjects like the opening of a flower or the clouds scudding across the sky, making them appear to be moving faster. I loved this feature and on the show you will be able to see my attempt at a time-lapse movie – it’s a lot of fun and educational too!

Of course a camera has to have a good lens and the 50x Fujinon Super EBC lens is exceptional and now has 5-axis image stabilization, unheard of on a bridge camera – meaning no more shaky pictures even at the extreme zoom lengths! It produces the sharpest pictures I have ever seen and the wildlife shots I have taken are outstanding. Here's just one, you can see lots more on Monday.

Taking night shots, long exposures and sunsets is also a breeze, and with the new Wi-Fi function coupled with a smartphone control app, you can remotely view and shoot without even touching the camera.

Overall the FinePix S1 is a real winner. It really is the camera for all occasions and all levels of photographer, and if you want to learn photography, this is all the camera you will ever need."

Tune in throughout the day on Monday 14th April to find out more.

I’ve been looking at this camera for a few weeks now, and I almost bought one three weeks ago. It was only the reviews that held me back. Also Panasonic are due to update their camera and I thought it might have a similar spec. I’m looking forward to Monday ‘s TSV to see what is on offer, I would like to see a 16 gig card and a spare battery and a dedicated S1 case and not just a camera bag in the TSV bundle, plus easy pay of course. I have seen this camera priced at £329.99 elsewhere and online, but that was for the camera alone

Fuji may be great cameras but their support services leave a lot to be desired
