Hello! Thank you so much for taking a look at my blog – as it’s Christmas just a note to say if you have any special Christmas messages you would like me to read out on-air – post a comment here and I will do so – more on that later….
So, how have you been? Are you all ready for Christmas and the New Year? It’s rather funny as I had Christmas drinks on Sunday 1st December (see previous blog!) and that was my goal to be all ready for Christmas and for some reason I thought I was. Well, yes, its true that the party was organised and everyone who came got a gift and that all my pressies had been bought, but as I write this on 18th December (1 week away!) I have still to wrap the pressies for close family and my neighbours. Cards are still not sent and I have been scrambling round for the extra little ‘thank you' pressies all this week realising I had so many people who have done so much for me this year. So all in all, I think I was rather kidding myself that I was done!!
Having said all that, I have had a wonderful December and am excited about the coming weeks. Over Christmas I am working at QVC all week and there will be 8 of us at home in London on Christmas Day. Then New Year I have the whole week off and will be back in Cornwall with extended family – all so wonderful!
As you will see from my photos this week, life has been particularly festive and I seem to be practically living in red, haha! We had our presenter Christmas lunch, above is a photo with fellow presenter and friend Debbie Flint who I adore. I spent a wonderful couple of days with my best friend Jules in the country – he is a groom and in earlier blogs you have seen photos of the stables and horses, and this visit was full of local pubs with red wine and roaring fires.
Another highlight was ice skating at the Tower of London last weekend; it was such a magical setting with that incredible back drop, the weather was clear and mild and best of all, even after having not ice skated for about 15 years, I didn't fall down once, hurrah!!
You can also see the Christmas grotto our wonderful set designers made us in the office – this is where our guest manager Tina and online guru Bryony hosted a little get together with mulled wine and mince pies for some of the team – honestly I feel so blessed to work at QVC, the people are truly amazing.
As so many of you like my little funny endings to my blog, this week it's a little dance. In the photo in full 'Christmas jumper glory’ you can see me and Will from Charlie Bears just about to go into the studio. As well as looking festive, my jumper has bells on it and for some reason I came up with a system to alert floor manager Veronica (who is a total star) by jingling my bells – you have to watch the clip, it's a real giggle!

Finally, as I am in all of Christmas week, if you would like any messages or sentiments read out on-air, do post a comment below and I will do my best to read these out – if you are really organised you can see when I am on the TV guide and request me to read it in a certain show if you like?!
So, that just leaves me to say have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS, whether it’s a quiet one or a busy one and I wish you a HAPPY, HEALTHY & PEACEFUL NEW YEAR. Thank you for your friendship, love and support and see you in 2014!
Big big hugs,
