Simon Wilson really knows how to party

Hi everyone,

It’s been quite hectic at QVC Towers as it always is at this time of year.

I recently spent a day filming a new promo for the email order confirmation service and, in case you’re wondering when you see it, no, it’s not my house – it’s the QVC house.
I was really excited to be invited to the Butler & Wilson 40th Anniversary party last week – what a night! Simon Wilson laid on the most spectacular fashion show featuring, of course, our very own Renee and Ali. The clothes and jewellery collections were stunning and there was even an authentic marching pipe band.

Click here to see a video.

I shot the video on my mobile so the sound is distorted from the pulsating dance music, but you get an idea of the spectacle. At the end, Simon comes onto the catwalk to deserved hysteria and a shower of golden ticker tape which covered the whole stage and floor surrounding it. This caused mayhem with everyone slipping around on it – I had to 'ski” Miss Roberts and her daughter Sophie off the dance floor to safety. What a hero!
All in all, it was a brilliant celebration.

Were you there? Love to hear from you whether you were or not.

    Hi Dale,
It was so nice to meet you at Simons party what a great night we had it was certainly well worth the travel from Aberdeen. Like I said on the night if it wasnt for QVC I would not be able to see the wide variety of Simons products.

    Hi Dale
Both Brian and I had a fantastic night and it was great to meet you and the QVC team – got a lovely photo of us all together. We finally arrived home in Dorset at 2.30am and back up for work and 6am needless to say we were exhausted but had the most fantastic night. Thank you QVC for my tickets and thanks you to Simon for a fab evening – it was glitter all the way.

    Hi Dale
Thank you for showing us the Clip, it looks great. I love all the staff that Simon makes and got a great deal of it from QVC.
I so wated to go to the party, but as I live in Mallorca (Spain), the flights, hotel, and the party ticket would have been too much to spend just before Christmas. But Iam so looking forward to Simon”s show on QVC next week, I have been putting money a side for that, and Iwill buy all I can from QVC then. Can”t wait till the 27th.

Thank you for for your comments – it was a great night and the one single thing that struck me was the fact that there were party goers of all ages from around 21 to 81 and I think that speaks volumes for Simon’s designs. It was lovely to meet Audrey and Tracey and perhaps next time Magda ? Yes Sylvia that is Renee and Ali on the catwalk and the Pipers got one of the biggest cheers of the night ! Thanks again Dale x
