See what I made with today’s TSV…

Ali with her blanket I have a question for all of you… what do you do with all those photos you keep on your camera or store on your computer? How many of them do you have out in frames? Well if the answer is precious few, I've got just the thing! And if you tune in today you'll be able to get one too!

The posh name for it is a 'photo montage throw'… but to me it's a way of surrounding yourself with your favourite people, pets and places – literally. The company who make them can reproduce ANY photo you have onto this sumptuously soft throw in either colour, or black and white.

You can either upload your photos online to them, or alternatively send them your photos, disc, artwork or memory stick and not only will they let you know they've safely received them, but within 7 days they'll send you a proof and you can make any changes you like.

The proof of Ali's photo blanket What do you think of mine then? 🙂 I've got Willows and Dodge on there too! And just think – you could theme yours to be just pets, or a new baby, a wedding, or holiday of a lifetime, maybe your parents – for a special anniversary, your brother who now lives abroad… you name it, they can do it. And the quality of the pictures is extraordinary.

Hope to have your company with me on Sunday at midnight and we can share memories!

Have a great weekend,

Love Ali x

I have a silver wedding anniversary coming up at Christmas. I was RACKING my poor brains about something to get them as people these days seem to have everything anyway and aren’t into ‘nicknacks’. This seems quite perfect and I have contacted their daughter to get some pictures to add to ones I already have. As I was intending to spend a little more than the cost, I will send the rest to the Woodland Trust to have some native trees planted as a living, growing reminder of their marriage.
    Job done, QVC!!!

Hi Ali, you may remmber me telling you about my cat Ainzley and his dirty protest at being taken to the vets. Well, he’s been diagnosed with a progressive heart condition which has no cure. I am so tempted to get the TSV and cover it in pictures of him so I will always have something warm and snuggly to remind me of him.
He is ok at the moment and the vet says he could be with us for years it just depends on how the condition progesses. Fingers crossed he outlives us all!!!

Hi Ali, what a fab idea this TSV is, i have family that lives overseas and unfortunately do not get to see them very often, its just too far,and miss them sorely, so I’ve bought this and am going to cover it in pictures of my family for them. Like the other lady i also wish it was on easy pay as i may have been tempted to have one for myself, next time maybe!
Now onto more serious matters……you HAVE to give us your version of events re the goings on on sat night at Miss Greenwoods party!!! What a scream it looked and you always tell a story with such fun and descriptive turns of phrase….do tell!!!!! Much Love Lucie xxxx

Hi Christine, Thank you for your message – it seems you’re not alone in your suggestion, and I will of course pass it on to the buying team, and maybe we can sort something for the next time! It is a corking idea though I agree. Ali x

Andi, that’s a great idea! I’m sure they will be thrilled with the finished product – as we all were! I particularly liked Claire’s and am now intent on asking my mum for some old photos of my brother, sister and I so I can get one made up for her. The Woodland Trust is such a thoughtful addition to their gift too. Excellent that we were able to help, and thank you very much for taking the time out to let me know. Love Ali x

Oh Debz, I’m sorry to hear that, but I think you, like many of our viewers, have chosen their pets pictures to decorate their blanket with and then maybe Ainzley could sleep on it! So glad you like so many others, loved the idea. I’m sure the vet is right, and the snugglier his bed is, the better he will rest and sleep 🙂 I’m keeping everything crossed for you. Keep in touch, and lots of love, Ali xx

Lynne, I have to agree that looking over some of the blankets before the launch on Sunday night brought a tear to my eye…particularly Claire Sutton’s blanket. I love her children, and the photo of her and Dan so clearly in love was beautiful. I wonder who they’ll give hers to? 🙂 You should have one made with your lovely wedding photos on x x x Ali

Dear Lucie, so glad you’ve gone for the TSV – I know your family abroad will love it… it’ll last forever too so best of luck in choosing the best photos for it 🙂 So hard to choose I find!! And thanks too for giving me a heads up on the party BLOGS! I was keeping a low profile as not sure that everyone knew Ms. Greenwood was 21… again! But I’ve got a few pictures of my own that I’ll share with you, so don’t worry I’ll give you the rest of the goss! Love Ali xx

Thank you Rhona – there were some lovely pictures and it’s a great way to keep them on view! Love your description of Halloween in your house. I have to be honest and say we don’t tend to do anything now that the children have grown up, although I used to take Jack and Sam trick or treating in the village when they were small. I hope you’ll be sending me a photo or two of your house decorated for Christmas… I’m sure our Christmas guest David Schindler would love to see them! I’m working all this weekend, but am delighted to be spending two hours at least with Tova – lovely lady 🙂 Hope you enjoyed Diamonique Day – could have bought the lot! You take care and have a restful weekend. Love Ali xx

Bless you Dorothy – think it was a bit of both if I’m honest 🙂 We stayed over at Debbie’s so had a lovely sleep on her Northern Nights featherbed and then bacon butties for breakfast. Bliss – she’s a hostest with the mostest. Love and best wishes to you too Dorothy – my next blog will give you a few more piccy’s. x x x

Hi Rhona, Hope you had a lovely weekend with your family, and yes, I did enjoy my time with Tova 🙂 Still smell delicious today! Of course I’ll help if I possibly can with helping you decide about the Judith Ripka ring. Not only did I wear it on the TSV day, but also had one of my own, which I wore a great deal until I lost it while in Ibiza!! It’s comfortable and although sits quite high up on the hand, the pave setting means it doesn’t catch on anything. My advice to you would be to order it, wear it, and make your decision over time. If Colin’s going to be buying it as a gift for you then we’ve extended our 30 day money back guarantee til 25th January, so it gives you a while. Let me know what you think and enjoy your week.
    Love Ali xxx

Hi Rhona, so sorry I didn’t pick this up in time to have the answer posted to you on Friday. My computer crashed, but luckily Sam’s sorted it for me, so if you were still considering your purchase, I’d confirm your decision is a good one! The red was a particularly warm colour and the size of the stone perfectly balanced with the width of the band of silver, so it sits on the finger very comfortably. Unless you have fairly large hands I’d suggest the middle finger to wear it on. Good idea to wear it with the red Suzi B watch…. and now I know who you are! Yes I remember you calling in and it was lovely to talk to you. Thanks for keeping me in touch with things this way though as it’s always good to hear from you. Love to you and yours too Alixx
