New QVC Active service on Sky If you have Sky at home, we've just made shopping a little easier for you with the launch of our new and improved QVC Active service on Sky channel 640.

Its much faster, slicker and simpler and you can order in seconds using your remote control – all while watching the live on-air show.

  Main features of the new QVC Active service:

  • Quick and easy ordering – just use the yellow button
  • Simple navigation – go anywhere within the service with the press of a button
  • High-quality full screen QVC channels - watch other QVC channels in full screen with the green button
  • See items from the last hour – catch up on any product from the last hour
  • Jump the queue – browse and buy items coming up in the current show before they’ve appeared on air
  • Get Bargain Hunters first – Bargain Hunter items are regularly updated so you can view and buy as soon as they’ve been updated
  • View One Time Only items – View these items on the service when the Today’s Special Value product has sold out

How to find the new features:

  • Press yellow to buy the live on-air item
  • Press blue for the Today's Special Value, Bargain Hunter, Hot Picks and more
  • Press green to watch more QVC video channels in full screen

To give you a faster simpler service that ties in with QVC shows, we’ve removed the shops and TV guide. But don’t worry, you can find the TV guide on our website, as well as over 15,000 products.


What is Sky QVC Active?
It’s an interactive ‘red button’ service found only on Sky channel 640. The service allows you to find and buy our best offers of the day, view items from the last hour and so much more.

Where can I find this service?
It’s only available on Sky channel 640.

How do I access QVC Active on Sky?
Just press your red button while you’re watching QVC on Sky.

Do customers need to sign up to be able to use this service?
You don’t have to be a member to use this service, but must be to order. You can sign up on our website or by calling our customer care team on 0800 51 41 31.

Can I find any product on Sky Active v6?
Yes you can search for any product using its item number.

Can Advanced Order or Waitlist products be ordered through the service?
No. Only items and styles that are in stock can be purchased.

How are discounts applied when ordering through the Sky Active v6?
Discounts are applied automatically, and are shown on the confirmation page.

Where can I check on my order?
You can check the status of your order on our website or call our customer care team on 0800 51 41 31.

Can ratings and reviews be seen on the service?
No. However these can be found on our website.

Is there a QVC Active service on Freeview or Virgin?
Yes, but these are different to the Sky service.

    I find the new active very poor. You claim its easier, no its not, its not slicker. I for one will no longer use it, as many others have said. If you look on Facebook you will see that almost everyone hates it, please go back to the old one.

    This new updated version of QVC Active is certainly not an improvement; one does not have the ability to access as many options, i.e. bargain hunter no longer consists of 4 areas of shopping. Products from the last 24 hours is no longer available. There are not as many sections in the day’s specials.

    The new and so called improved Q active is absolutely awful!!!I use the red button all the time -or I did before the changes-it is not as user friendly as before and I don’t think it gives the same amount of information -it is like so many things -for new and improved read changed and ruined!!!!

    Just got easier NOT!!
    There is one good thing about it though, i shan’t bother staying up to browse my active at midnight each night, so thank you QVC!

    I DON’T LIKE IT!!! The old QVC Active gave you more choice. I used to use the TV guide every day, I don’t always want to log on to my computer to see what was on for the day. Please go back to the old one.

    I agree with everyone else, and whats happened to our Bargain Hunter. QVC active is a no no for me now, won’t be wasting my time with this anymore.

    I find the new QVC Active very poor. It has none of the things I liked on the old one, no products shown other than a few hot picks rather than the days featured brnads. No choice of different shops to look through and no 24 hr review that I can find. It’s harder to navigate round too and I won’t be using it anywhere much as I used to. I am really disappointed. Please go back to the old one.

    what improvments? i cant use bargain hunter, the shops or anything worth seeing. i wont be staying up to try your new way, just like other customers. come on qvc, you can definatley do alot better than this. listen to your customers.

    I am totally unimpressed with the new “improved” active service and was totally disappointed to see how little there was on there. I used to check the bargains every night along with the shops and any presentations I had missed and can no longer do this unless I go upstairs and switch on my computer which I do not always want to do last thing at night! There are a lot of people who are not as fortunate as me and do not have a computer or access to the internet and I feel that due to this “improvement” you will find that you lose a lot of sales.

    I agree with these comments, my mum used the tv guide service as she dosen’t have access to a computer at home. She used this to check her fave shows etc but now she is unable to do this which really removes the convenience that these other services are meant to provide.

    I agree with everyone else – I regularly used to buy items from the bargain hunter pages on QVC Active – but don’t even bother looking on there now. It’s complete rubbish! Why on earth they would think it is an improvement is beyond me – it was obviously designed by someone who hasn’t a clue what people want from this service!

    I think the NEW QVC active button is absolutely rubbish I used to always look at the shops and specials I don’t bother now.Also 2-5 hotpicks instead of 8 is a move backwards. Bring back the old QVC active it had more product availability.
