Our pick for this month is the L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Cream which is a rich moisturising cream developed from an age old ingredient to help improve the smoothness and firmness of the skin – especially when associated with a slackened skin due to wrinkles.
This cream is rich in a combination of organically sourced Immortelle extracts. The Immortelle flower is known as the ever-lasting flower as it is bright yellow in colour and once it has flowered it never dies, as the dried flower keeps all of the glory of full bloom and the vibrancy of the colour.
You will notice this extract immediately when you apply it because the organic Immortelle can immediately be smelled like a strong aromatic, herb-type extract. This will be perfect stepping into the winter months because it has a lovely, rich, almost buttery texture that glides on and melts in but immediately gives a feeling of suppleness and dry skin relief as well as your anti-ageing benefits.
Favoured by beauty journalists, you will prefer to use the Precious Cream on normal to dry skin for comfort and then on any exaggerated problems of lining or slackness for anti-ageing. This will probably be for the 30s plus. It would be a wonderful cream to buy as a Christmas gift for your wife, mum or partner if you are looking for one all-encompassing moisturiser that can be used morning and night.
This cream is very versatile. It can be as simple as using just this morning and night, or you can slot it into an existing routine to enhance the results of another brand especially if you want the comfort of a richer cream. Any of my ‘outdoor’ customers will love it because the supple, moist, creamy texture will offer protection from any driving wind and rain when out and about and give comfort and relief when you come indoors.
