    Hi Alison,
Firstly, I’d like to say a very big thank you to you and the fantastic advice you give – it’s invaluable! Over the years I’ve listened intently and followed your advice. It’s cost me a fortune but the results are well worth it. I think I’ve tried the majority of beauty and skin care products from QVC – it’s a joy!
I have three questions if I may.
    1. My son is 23 and still suffers from acne break outs. He also has scarring. Gp creams have not been effective and he had a reaction to medication. He’s very good looking but lacks confidence and has a low self esteem due to the detrimental psychological effects of having acne. I know you recommend several products for this problem, but in your expert opinion what is THE ULTIMATE one?
    2. Are there any plans to bring back Molten Brown? I love it and I know many other QVC bugs do too. It was such a hit last time and I know it would be again.
    3. Are there any plans to introduce Mac make up on QVC?
Thank you, I’ll eagerly await your reply.

Alison, can you please advise me what to use to try and help dark circles. These are not under the eye but on the inside corner and are very dark, my eye lids are red and purple too. I am drinking lots of water use Elemis and Decleor eye serums and eye creams. I am now exasperated as to what to try next – maybe I should just give up.

    Hi Alison,
I always look through your advice messages on the website and watch your shows hoping one will answer my skin issues, but nothing ever quite matches so here goes:
I’m 28 and suffer from very oily skin and acne, which I’ve had since my teens. My doctor prescribes Duac once daily cream that I apply every night to control my breakouts. I have very open pores on my cheeks and nose, and also blackheads on my nose and chin. I use a mattifing moisturiser and cleanser twice a day.
My foundation never seems to stay on my skin, I have tried so many brands over the years. I find the make up slides off my face, and I’m always left with a patch on my cheeks where the make up has ‘disappeared’ and I have to use oil absorbing sheets several times a day.
I have tried lots of different primers, but find that even the mattifing versions leave my skin slippy and don’t seem to soak into my skin properly. I’m using Smash box oil free primer under my make up at the moment but the open pores are still visible, and I’m having the same problems with sliding.
I’ve noticed that you usually recommend Alpha-H Liquid Gold for oily skin problems, but will I be able to apply that if I’m also using Duac? Or is there anything else you can suggest to help me please?
