See what we have in store for Designer Day

Kimberley Selwood It's Designer Day tomorrow, where we'll be celebrating the talents of many of our designer guests. I shall be presenting the wonderful delights of Lola Rose jewellery at midday, featuring the Today’s Special Value (if it’s still around!)

Then I'll be learning as much as I can about re-styling my home from the globally renowned, multi award-winning interior designer Kelly Hoppen MBE at 2pm.

Exciting new silver range

At 4pm I shall be introducing an exciting new range of silver jewellery called Silver Innocence, which is designed by the highly talented, award-winning Kimberley Selwood (pictured) who will also be joining us. Amongst her many accolades, Kimberley has won the prestigious New Designers Goldsmiths' Award for Jewellery and was nominated for the Platinum Bridal Collection of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards 2009.

The Innocence Collection is a quite stunning, yet affordable range that Kimberley has designed especially for QVC. It's inspired by organic forms with intricate patterns, textures and more than a hint of romance.

I’m really looking forward to meeting Kimberley (as I’m sure you will be), and giving you the first look at her brand new Silver Innocence Collection – so please consider yourselves cordially invited to join us both at 4pm tomorrow (Wednesday 24th March).

Dear Dale, let’s forget about Designer Day, which has gone anyway, and talk about your lovely garden. What beautiful trees. The sun passing through them in the summer must cast beautiful shadows and atmospheres, and they definitely must provide much needed shade in the summer too. Also, the wildlife they attract must be incredible. I bet you see foxes, badgers, even deer perhaps. Also, the variety of birds who visit must be incredible. I definitely envy you the location of your house.
I’m surprised you can get any work done with that outlook. Being a wildlife lover, I imagine your garden is a magnet for wildlife and I’m very envious.
Take care and more photos of your lovely garden please.
You do make me laugh and long may it continue. Loved it when you were doing the TSV camera and they were able to distort the shape of your face into a funny caricature type image. I’m sure you know the one I mean. Try to put it on one of your blog pages if you can get hold of a copy. It was hillarious.
    Love Mrs P xxxxxxx

Hello Dale, sorry about the last two comments. My son thought he would be clever writing in my comment box, not actually thinking that it would be posted. Don’t know why I’m apologising though; I do love your work and you really make me laugh. You boys, what are you like?
    Love Mrs P xx

    Hi Dale
I heard you reminiscing on your Suarti show with Jilly tonight and you brought back some memories for me also.I went to see the Bay City Rollers in Dundee when I was 15 and I was one of the screaming wee girls who adored them at the time, and my husband like you, used to wear Arthur Black shirts–made to measure,Stay Press Trousers–Rolled up, A Harrington Jacket or a Long Black coat(cant remember the name of it) and Doc Martin Boots.Looking back now weren’t they the Best Years.I love listening to your stories as we are around the same age and I can totally agree with you! Take Care Dale and remember more stories please.x

What can I say – being a typical Boy – I’m rubbish at checking up on these wonderful Comments – please accept my apologies for such a late reply! Mrs P thanks to you for all those lovely words about my garden, you’re right it is a magnet for wildlife, some more welcome than others! Loving your son’s work as well – Sylvia, I had a similar get up to your husband’s – I had a battle with my mum to get a pair of Dr M’s for a while as she thought they would get me into a lot of trouble – as a parent myself I can now see where she was coming from. But she needn’t have worried about her little treasure! Kimberley – I’m glad you had such such a great day – The QVC viewers clearly loved you and your stunning range of Jewellery – thanks again to you all. Dale x

Hi Dale, I so enjoyed Silver Day I bought some items, and absolutely love Suarti, I purchasd 5 pieces on her hours, such a lovely lovely lady, I almost feel guilty for buying these pieces at these prices when you see how much love and work go into each and every piece. I love to see you and Charlie present the Jewellery shows, you make it all such fun. Sincerely Brenda
