Seasons of change…and a tribute to Wayne Dyer

4

Well I’m still holding out for an Indian summer! September just feels like it’s all come about too fast this year. Back to school and nights drawing in… Still, many things to look forward to.

Jason Vale joice master

I was delighted to hear that Jason Vale the Juice Master will be at QVC on 27th September at midnight and 4pm. I met him first many years ago and this is what started my juicing really. I still have his ‘Power Juice’ as one of my all-time favourites. I use it whenever I’m getting myself back into eating well and being healthy. I find it quite addictive as a taste. My body can crave it – almost as if it knows it has all the goodness in there it needs for the day. That’s what I like about it, as I know, no matter what else I eat that day, my body has had primarily most of the elements it needs nutritionally for the day. I think you also feel less hungry because of this. Here’s the recipe for you.

Power Juice
4 x apples
1/2 pineapple
1/4 cucumber
Handful of spinach
Stick of celery
Juice of 1/4 or 1/2 a lime
1/2 avocado
Juice the above then place in a blender with a handful of ice, the lime juice and 1/2 avocado

I loved having a closer look at our autumn/winter fashion on Fashion Day, and ordered quite a lot. I’ve been clinging to my white jeans, as long as there’s any sun around at all, but hope to integrate them with more autumn colours and fashions having now been inspired by so many great new pieces.

I am so pleased to announce that Pilgrim is coming to QVC – a really hot Danish jewellery brand! Perfect that they launch in September being QVC’s Jewellery Month. The pieces are amazing. You may notice I have been tempted by not one but two of their watches – in black and grey!! Here’s a sneaky peak at them! We really are in for a treat, so do look out for their first show on 26th September at 5pm. Just hoping I get an hour with them soon.

On a final note I just wanted to take a moment to tribute the transition of Wayne Dyer. I had the privilege of hosting shows with him years ago. I was always amazed at how in spite of being such an inspiration and spiritual leader he also had so many of the human challenges we all face. It reminds me there is no immunity from these, simply because we have greater awareness, or are on the spiritual path – but maybe it gives us the ability to recognise they are what in actual fact provides us with the opportunities for our growth – there bringing the ultimate challenge of gratitude for all things, events and experiences, no matter how they may appear or feel at the time.

Fare forward dear Wayne.

Wishing you all a wonderful beginning of autumn…
Much Love,
Sara x

Sara, have been meaning to contact u for some time following your brilliant presentations on recent products. U so made me laugh too with all the purchasing u yourself were doing. My Mum used to tell people never to go shopping with me as I cd talk anyone into buying anything, and I have to tell u your enthusiasm makes me feel the same way.[must be something to do with also being a July baby, although this year had just lost my darling GSD Tipzee, so did not want to celebrate at all.] Am also a besotted gardener arthritis permitting, and totally into positivity and not giving in, so all in all am wondering if we are related:~} U have also decided me to give my blender#mixer another try, but problem is not really sure how to go about it as lost the original instructions ages ago. So if am on news tonight I am the woman who blew up herer kitchen whilst mixing a smoothie. Mayb better stick to my Yogio at which I am v good!!! Anyway, all the best Sara, and so look forward to spending a bit more money with u v soon. Cx

Carrie, you have made me smile today! Sharing these moments is really all there is, isn’t there? the things that make us human and connect us! I know what you mean with the Easyio – tricky to mess that up – although I didn’t put enough boiling water in the other day – so I managed to even make that too sloppy! Well done on the gardening! And the juicing! I’ve just been to get my ingredients and forgotten the spinach!!! Anyway, look forward to knowing you’re watching whether shopping or not – always a pleasure to share the experience. Thanks for writing and do keep in touch! Love re Tipzee. If they have a devoted owner like us, I think we know we’ve done all we can. All is well. Much love, Sara x
