Well I’m still holding out for an Indian summer! September just feels like it’s all come about too fast this year. Back to school and nights drawing in… Still, many things to look forward to.
I was delighted to hear that Jason Vale the Juice Master will be at QVC on 27th September at midnight and 4pm. I met him first many years ago and this is what started my juicing really. I still have his ‘Power Juice’ as one of my all-time favourites. I use it whenever I’m getting myself back into eating well and being healthy. I find it quite addictive as a taste. My body can crave it – almost as if it knows it has all the goodness in there it needs for the day. That’s what I like about it, as I know, no matter what else I eat that day, my body has had primarily most of the elements it needs nutritionally for the day. I think you also feel less hungry because of this. Here’s the recipe for you.
4 x apples
Handful of spinach
Stick of celery
Juice of 1/4 or 1/2 a lime
Juice the above then place in a blender with a handful of ice, the lime juice and 1/2 avocado
I loved having a closer look at our autumn/winter fashion on Fashion Day, and ordered quite a lot. I’ve been clinging to my white jeans, as long as there’s any sun around at all, but hope to integrate them with more autumn colours and fashions having now been inspired by so many great new pieces.
I am so pleased to announce that Pilgrim is coming to QVC – a really hot Danish jewellery brand! Perfect that they launch in September being QVC’s Jewellery Month. The pieces are amazing. You may notice I have been tempted by not one but two of their watches – in black and grey!! Here’s a sneaky peak at them! We really are in for a treat, so do look out for their first show on 26th September at 5pm. Just hoping I get an hour with them soon.
On a final note I just wanted to take a moment to tribute the transition of Wayne Dyer. I had the privilege of hosting shows with him years ago. I was always amazed at how in spite of being such an inspiration and spiritual leader he also had so many of the human challenges we all face. It reminds me there is no immunity from these, simply because we have greater awareness, or are on the spiritual path – but maybe it gives us the ability to recognise they are what in actual fact provides us with the opportunities for our growth – there bringing the ultimate challenge of gratitude for all things, events and experiences, no matter how they may appear or feel at the time.
Fare forward dear Wayne.
Wishing you all a wonderful beginning of autumn…
