Hi there, hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine that seems to be mostly staying with us for the moment, hurrah!
I’ve had a great week, busy as ever and lots to report on!
Seaside – I was in Brighton twice last week, once to take advantage of the hottest day of the year (how lucky it turned out that I was off that day, bliss!) and once to perform in a showcase with my dance group. Sunshine, friends, dancing and fish and chips on the seafront, who could ask for more?! I wore my Ultrasun Family 30 on the hot day and came back with a lovely tan, people keep asking if I have been away!
Ali Young Fashion – Our resident beauty expert always looks fabulous on screen with her collection of gorgeous dresses and beautiful shoes, always so glamorous and stylish. And off air too I really like Ali’s style, more relaxed but very funky and cool. So, you can imagine our giggles when by sheer coincidence last week we turned up to QVC in matching outfits; Breton style blue and white stripe tops with Camo green shorts & dungarees. Hope you like our fashion shots!
Fab Feet and Hands – Drum role…… It’s a FULL HOUR of Margaret Dabbs this Saturday (30th July) at 1pm. I am a huge fan of the Margaret Dabbs range that we carry at QVC and for the second time went for a medical pedicure at one of her newest clinics at Space NK in West London.
I must be honest, with being so busy I had rather neglected my feet and it showed; lots of hard unsightly skin, toe nails looking rather worse for wear and generally dry, unattractive feet, eek!
I was lucky enough to have lovely French podiarist Sandra do my treatment again and my feet now look wonderful – no hard skin, callous, corns, irritation between the toes or dry skin in sight!
Sandra reminded me of the importance of keeping on a regime for foot care and showed me how easy it can be with the Margaret Dabbs range. I am going on a yoga retreat in a couple of weeks where my feet will be on show all the time – I am determined they will look good and have that lovely Margaret Dabbs “lighter feet’ feeling!
What’s different about Saturday’s show is that we have new footcare products in the form of bunion support aids, foot wipes & foot powder. And, as the range has now expanded (very successfully) into handcare we will also have specific treatments for hands as well as gorgeous nail colour that contains the special Margaret Dabbs care ingredients.
I had a manicure at the clinic whilst my feet were being treated and again my hands look incredible, neat nails, tidy cuticles and ready for those TV close-ups!
I do hope you will join me with Margaret on Saturday, it’s going to be a great show and even if you are not buying there is always great advice on taking care of your feet, remember Margaret has been an expert podiarist who set up her clinics in 1998, this lady knows about feet and hands!
Hope you like the photos and can see the results for yourself!
See you Saturday!
