Hello! Hope you are well and that 2018 is off to a good start?
It’s a month of birthdays! Already had two friends who have had birthdays, here is Hemi and me at Josephine’s, the most famous Filipino restaurant in London and still to come this month: my mum’s birthday, my dad’s and my niece Jasmine’s!
One thing I certainly wish for you is to have a happy and safe 2018 and here are a few safety ideas…
Do you cycle or know someone that does? I cycle a lot in London and was so happy to try out this Jocca rucksack that very cleverly illuminates all the important road signals and really helps you feel much safer on the road. It’s easy to set up and is a rather smart executive rucksack to boot!
And I am wearing the Morpher folding helmet, what a brilliant idea this is – I can have it with me at all times as it fits in a bag! I see so many cyclists in London with no helmet and to me it seems crazy and so dangerous. Also at darker times of the day, I wear a hi-vis jacket. Do I get a safety gold star?!
Finally on a safety note, I overloaded a plug socket using one of those inexpensive two-way adapters you pick up in a pound shop recently. It overheated! I have now upgraded to a much safer option with Safemore and this has handy USB charging sockets too, brilliant!
Did you catch any of the Elemis mini-series? I hosted our Ask the Therapist show, poor Keely was struggling with her throat but still did a sterling job, she is so brilliant. I ordered the Skin Solution Kit and look forward to trying it out as these winter months are pretty tough on our skin and as you know, I am a summer boy through and through!
And finally, how do you fancy the idea of making ironing quicker and easier this year? If you do, be sure to join me this Sunday into Monday as I launch the latest Morphy Richards Steam Generator Today’s Special Value. As you can see from the photos, it’s a stunning blue design but more importantly it is a joy to use.
I pressed several shorts, shirts and jeans with me and because there is such good steam pressure, it’s so quick. It’s also light to use as all the weight of the water is in the tank which sits in the generator part that never needs to move. You simply use tap water by taking the removable tank to the sink and it even has a self-cleaning function so more more horrible descaling, hurrah! See you for the launch on Sunday night or watching the Breakfast Show repeats.
So, a few January ideas there for you, do let me know how things are for you this month and I will see you on-air soon.
