Rosemary Merry is back with Craft’s Creative Moments

Rosemary MerryHi everyone,

Well, my re-launched papercrafting shows have been a long time coming, but they’re finally here and I’m very excited to be back on air under the banner of a brand new show title – Crafts Creative Moments on Tuesday 2nd August from 2pm-4pm and again at 7pm.

We’ve all been working really hard behind the scenes – the buyers have been busily buying, the planners have been painstakingly planning, and I’ve been hard at work making up samples to show the kinds of things you can create with all the wonderful kits you’re going to see.

New kit samples have been arriving thick and fast at my door over the last few weeks and I’m sure the delivery guys are starting to get fed up!

What to look forward to…

As I mentioned, you’re going to see lots and lots of kits that you haven’t seen before, plus a slight change of emphasis. First and foremost I’ll be continuing to show you what beautiful scrapbook pages you can make to preserve your precious memories, but I also want to show how these products can be used in other applications such as ‘off-the-page’ projects like mini-books, home decor, and of course, cardmaking.

For the re-launch I’m so pleased that the 2pm – 4pm show will be hosted by Simon Biagi who is so enthusiastic about crafts and is friendly, professional, and so easy to work with. In the evening I’ll be sharing the 7pm hour with USA designer Teresa Collins when we’ll both be bringing you a fresh array of tempting goodies.
Whatever you’re doing, take some time out, make yourself a cuppa, and indulge in some of the lovely things we have to show you. If you get a chance, why not text a message or even give me a call? I’d love to chat with you!
Take care, and I hope to see you then!
Rosemary x

    Hi Rosemary
Nice to see you back and ‘Good Luck’ with you new show!
I was lucky enough to visit your craft shop a couple of years ago as a birthday treat from my other half. It was like being in a candy shop, sooo many things to look at, plus we met your lovely husband!
Will be watching with my cuppa!
    Take care

    Hi Rosemary,
Really liking the ideas behind the re launch, and looking forward to seeing more of your creativity on QVC. I’ve been making cards for over 25 years and more recently have incorporated some of your mini book ideas to develop card/scrapbook hybrids. The great thing about this hobby is that its always developing so I’m looking forward to lots more of your inspirational techniques and products. Heres to a roaring success!

Welcome back, Rosemary ……. it has been waaaay toooo long!!!!
I am really looking forward to watching your show, let’s hope that QVC make this a regular slot, so fed up with what they have been showing on a Tuesday in the craft slot. Same old stuff, same old techniques, just too much Kanban.
Love your mini-books and home decor projects that you produce as samples, I find it really inspires me to “have a go” and of course to buy the products that you are showing.
Good Luck with the show and thanks to all involved for their hard work.

I’m delighted that you’re back with us today Rosemary. I knew that your two hour shows would be inspirational – And it was!! You have given me some lovely new ideas, in both card making and scrapbooking.
Recently, the craft hours have become boring. I’m sick of seeing Kanban products. I know it’s each to his own, and some of the newbie crafters need a quick and easy result. But myself, and many other crafters need something more challenging, and your samples today have fueled my desire to buy and create new projects. Thank You!
I can’t wait until this evenings show.

Excellent first two shows Rosemary, looking forward to the 7pm hour. You have been missing from QVC for far too long. Shame on you QVC.
There needs to be a more balanced view of the crafts shown on QVC as not all of us appreciate either the Dawn Bibby or the Kanban type of crafting and to be honest i don’t need to be told what is and how to use a glue dot.
More varied types of shows are required to cater for all who have the potential to shop on QVC and today you were that person.
Well done you and Nige step away from the hat!

What a breath of fresh air from this afternoon’s craft programmes! Rosemary has been away far too long! It was wonderful to see such a wide range of crafts presented by someone who didn’t treat us like 5 year olds and wasn’t using Kanban products every 10 seconds. I hope this is going to be a regular event. Well done Rosemary and Simon, all the best Carolyn

Just tuned in to the 7pm hour … I missed out on the afternoon craft slot as usual as I work Monday to Friday. Hint, QVC, can we have more crafting shows either evenings or weekends. And definitely, please, more of Rosemary’s shows.
Big welcome back to Rosemary. I am not a scrapper BUT I love using scrapbook papers and embellishments in my papercrafts. So much more creative than a lot of the items sold specifically for card makers. Can we have more stamps, punches and dies please?

For the first time in a long time I really enjoyed the show and could not wait to order items. I had got really bored with craft on QVC and so had stopped watching – there is no inspiration in ‘poping out toppers’ and sticking them on to a preformed card.
The samples were fantastic and a really nice range. I really enjoyed seeing Rosemary’s card samples as well as the excellent mini books.
Please can we have more shows like this – why can this not have a regular slot like the current ‘cut and stick’ shows on Tuesday? I really hope you take note as I think you would see a significant increase in sales.

Welcome back Rosemary – I’ve missed you. Thanks goodness QVC have brought you back and let’s hope they’ll give you a regular two hour slot now – should have happened years ago. I agree with the other ladies – Dawn is a great crafter, but not everyone makes cards and if I never hear the name Kanban again it will be too soon!!! We need more scrapbooking and minibooks QVC, please give Rosemary a regular slot. I, like a lot of other ladies, have given up watching on Tuesdays for obvious reasons. I really enjoy Rosemary’s scrapbooking programmes. She has a really good rapport with the co-presenters and doesn’t talk to them like a bossy school mistress, (Dawn can irritate in that way I’m afraid). The products that Rosemary shares with us and the ideas are really excellent – the kit prices are amazing. I like to do cards and scrapbooking and there is a lot of ‘cross over’ in the products – Rosemary gives a really balanced view of both. I hope she gets a regular slot so I can be sure to set my machine to record if I’m out

Thanks for bringing back Rosemary, like a lot of others, l’m sick of being spoken to like l’m a five year old. There is nothing creative about sticking toppers onto preprinted cards and l really just don’t like Kanban, even if it is all you seen to have been selling recently, the shows have become all the same, how many more victorian ladies kits does the world need. The shows yesterday were creative, samples all inspiring and presented by someone who looked truly pleased to use the products not just trying to flog us overpriced tat. More please QVC

Thank goodness – Rosemary is back! She has been so missed by we crafters who are not so interested in cardmaking. How very enjoyable was Rosemary Merry’s show, and I bought several things. Even tho finances….should not have permitted that
However, they are all excellent, & I love Rosemary’s skill and enthusiasm. And I share the intense boredom of hearing about kanban and how to stick toppers onto card; as another comment said; we are not 5. Is depressingly boring and all the same with different pictures.
I have really gone over to Create and Craft; talented presenters allowed to show the products and their skills to the best. Plus their club, plus their capped P&P. What’s not to love? -but will watch, and buy from, Mrs Merry everytime; thank you, QVC for some decent crafting, and thank you, Rosemary, for style, talent and sparkly enthusiasm

Nice to see Rosemary back on our screens, she is like a breath of fresh air, a change from the usual old tired card making of late. Some of the Kanban cards and papers are nice, but really do we want Christmas cards featuring Arnie etc.? More Rosemary please Q.V.C.

    Dear Rosemary,
Have just watched your american crafts show and so enjoyed it. You are like a breath of fresh air to qvc and it makes a lovely change to see different products. I hope you soon have a regular slot. Used to buy nearly all my crafting supplies from qvc but recently have found it so boring and have bought very little. The other person I love is anna griffin and can’t believe she has a tsv next week. Anyway, thanks for today. Bought the dear lizzie paper and stamps (2 lots – One for me and one for my daughter.)
    Come back soon
    Brenda xx
