In my life time I've always moved around and been to countless schools but the one I definitely have the most memories of is my dance school from back in the 80s.
I left home at fifteen to join the Melody Urquhart Master School where we lived-in and learned all sorts about variety performance. I was soon being sent out on assignments at holiday camps, cabarets and abroad dancing my little socks off (take a look at me in Pontins when I was 15, right).
Well, the last time I saw most of the people from MUMS was around twenty years ago. Thanks to our fab music teacher, Tony Young, we have been reunited at last. We spent a whole weekend reminiscing, having girly chats 'til the wee small hours and dancing 'til we dropped (see top left)!
Being dancers, I think we were all a bit nervous about how we looked after all those years, so I was so pleased that I had lost over a stone on Diet Chef prior to the reunion. I felt great in my outfit and had bags of energy (well you need to if you're gonna be up all night dancing).
It wasn't about being thin, I just wanted to feel good in my clothes and I can truly say that I did feel fabulous! I even bought a new dress in a smaller size for the event! If you missed Diet Chef the first time around it's back on Monday 21st September at 4pm.
If you have an event like a reunion, wedding, anniversary, winter sun holiday or Christmas party you want to feel and look great for then I'd highly recommend it. If you have already tried it then why not share your stories with us on the forum?
This was my first ever reunion. I'd love to hear stories about any reunions you've been to. Oh, and Diet Chef if you've already had results, so get writing in!
Can't wait to see you again on Monday as I've missed Le Q over the past couple of weeks!
Lots of love,
