Craft customers review Wednesday’s Martha Stewart TSV

47

Birthday card Here's a little something to whet your appetite for tomorrow's Martha Stewart crafting Today's Special Value.

We sent out samples of Wednesday's Today's Special Value package to a handful of lucky QVC customers to see what they thought, so let's see what some of them had to say!

Elaine from Kilmarnock sent us in these lovely photos of what she had made with the kit and told us,

"The professionalism of the punches will produce some great results. The build quality is excellent and will last for years and years"

April from Croydon found a lot of fans for her set;

"I received the punches at work…as I opened them a crowd appeared round my desk. Everyone loved them"

Michele from Cheshire was also quite taken with this Martha Stewart Today's Special Value set;

"The 'deep edge' border punches are very useful, both for cardmaking and scrapbooking and the 'stamp and punch' punches are a brilliant idea as they allow you to add stamped detail to your punched images"

Happy birthday Dale Margaret from Holmfirth was also pleased;

"I was really impressed with the ease of use, I did not need to use a great deal of pressure and the cut was superb. I really liked the way the stamps stored in the punch itself which keeps it all safe together."

Jo Ann from London told us that;

"The kit provides more than enough to create professional results. They're really are easy to use and the results are stunning. I would definitely recommend the range to everyone. The deep edge punch is my favourite and just beautiful"

So there you have it! If you want to get your hands on this highly recommended Martha Stewart Today's Special Value craft set, be sure to tune in tomorrow

    I love the card samples and can’t wait to see the Martha Stewart TSV!
    I often hear the presenters mentioning that they’ve sent TSV’s out prior to it’s airing, so that customers can give their views on the item. How would I go about getting to be a part of such an exciting part of QVC?

    How do you get to be a ‘lucky customer’?! ‘Lucky customers’ are invited to special events, get a chance to try things out (as above)etc. I spend a fortune with QVC and would love to be a ‘lucky customer’ ! Is there a magic formula for being chosen????!!!!!
    Sincerely
    Sue Bayley

    I am looking forward to the TSV, can wait to see what’s in it. I too have heard presenters and customers calls stating that they had received the TSV to test. This is definately something I would be interested in doing, not just for craft so if the ‘powers that be’ read this please contact me. Thanks.

    I am a avid watcher of QVC and have had very lttle reason to return goods as the majority have been just what I have wanted. I would like to know how you become a member to try products out before they are put on sale and also be invited to attend various functions ran by QVC.

  5. Cath February 9, 2010 at 12:24 pm -  Reply

    Just like all the previous comments I too would like to know how to become a crafter that gets the TSV before it is aired and be able to use it and comment on what I thought of it and do you then Pay for the item or is it free

  6. Jill Wright February 9, 2010 at 12:26 pm -  Reply

    Hi, I’m with all the ladies comments, I love QVC, buy loads of stuff and have been a member for nearly as long as it’s been running!!!. I too wonder how you get to be one of the “Lucky Ones” – I wonder is it random on what range of items you buy? This seems to be the question of the day. Thanks

    HELP! I would love to be invited to a special craft event or be one of the lucky customers who receive TSV’s prior to airing for testing purposes. Can anyone tell me how I get to be one of the ‘special people’?

  8. Joy Padley February 9, 2010 at 1:02 pm -  Reply

    Yes I agree with Sue how do you become a ‘LUCKY’ Customer. I too have spent a fortune over the last 12 years with QVC although I admit not on crafing.
    Over to you QVC!

    Hi, myself and my mum, are avid crafters, and buy nearly all of our craft “stuff” from QVC, we have bought from other shopping channels, but have never recieved the brilliant customer service, and quality items that we have with QVC. We would love to be chosen as one of your ‘special testers’, and get to have a sneaky peek, and try products before everyone else!.

  10. Lynn Husbands February 9, 2010 at 1:32 pm -  Reply

    Well you have all said it all before me. Like the previous comments I too have spent an absolute fortune (so my credit card tells me) with QVC especially with the crafts.
    How does one get to test the TSV prior to it’s airing. I have seen nothing about it on the website at all and were it not for the presenters mentioning this fact then I would not have known anything about it.
    Do please tell us all what we have to do to be in with a chance for this exciting prospect.
    Regards, Lynn

    Hello! Sorry to repeat the comments of everybody else here, but I would absolutely love to be invited to a QVC Customer Event or sent a sample craft TSV to try out. I have bought tons of craft products from QVC over the past five years, and now the recession has hit our house very hard, so a little thank-you gesture from QVC would really mean the world to me right now. Yours in hopeful anticipation, Jess Hurt, Lincoln

    What do you need to do to be chosen to take part in trials for craft tsv”s i have been a shopper with qvc for many years now and have never been chosen to try out products i spend a fortune on craft products and just wondered what else you need to do in order to get this chance, looking forward to seeing tsv tomorrow looks very nice from cards shown above.

  14. Leonie Shield February 9, 2010 at 4:48 pm -  Reply

    Ohhh please please please add me to your list. I would love the chance of having something sent to me or even an invitation to the studios would be great. If it wasnt for Dawn I would not have started cardmaking so now she has got me into it in a very big way I think she owes me a chance of either a kit to play with or an invitation.

    I too would have loved to have had a chance to see new products being used in craft shows or go to demos as well, I have spent literally thousands of pounds on craft products in the years I have been buying from QVC. How on earth do these people get picked ….a few sheets of Mirri card would be appreciated !!

    Hi
    Just to request the same as the other posters on this page, I also have spent a fortune on craft items from QVC going asll the way back to the first carol smith’s gallery glass products in the 1990’s.
    Please can someone tell me how I can become a tester for the craft items, my husbands credit card can testify I’m craft mad!!!
    many thanks

    AND AGAIN as all the above mails have stated how do you get to be a tester of new products ,myself like those above and those that are coming we have all spent small fortunes over the years ,no invites to visit QVC or to test even a glitter gel pen, and like the above didnt even know it was being done until last craft day,and felt a bit disappointed ,I watch or record craft day religiously ,I pay the postage on each individual item and I do the same with Dawn on her Tuesday slots what else is required….. I do however appreciate that if a stamp or something is missing from the sets they are sent out to complete the kit so a Big Thank you as sure most companies would not bother.

    It does seem to be the current topic, ‘How do I get invited to client days/ try out products?’ like others, I have searched the website but found nothing. Pease QVC tell us what we need to do.

    Love the card samples! I too would love to be part of a ‘sample team’! The majority of my purchases are craft products and although I have received invites to craft events, as I am out of London have always had to decline them. Love trying out new kits etc so would love to have chance to play !!!

    seems to me that if we all can’t be a part of the special people as the ladies above mentioned then QVC should keep quiet about it as it is upsetting alot of loyal customers, so all or none at all QVC!!!

  23. mrs winter February 9, 2010 at 6:24 pm -  Reply

    As many of QVC customers such as myself who have spent lots of monies and time watching QVC, it would be appropriate for QVC to be more open and clear with their method of chosen free gifts to chosen customers and the selection method of the morning show competition. I am positive that we all like to be selected but there are no clear instructions by QVC which indicates favouritism?.

    I would love to be a member who has been chosen to try new products. I love all departments of q v c . especially northen nights, and kanban craft. If you have some kind of draw system, to try products , please put my name forward . thanks

    Forgive me if I sound like an echo but I have been shopping with QVC for 13 years and as yet have never been lucky enough to receive any craft products to “Try out” and comment on. I can’t wait to see Martha Stewart’s TSV her products are fantastic, so here goes for yet another late night as I can’t bear to miss the 12am show.
    Keep up the good work

    Please, please think of me when ‘priviledged customers’ are contacted to test out the items. I must be carrying QVC with my many purchases by now!!!! Also I always review your products – selling them for all they’re worth so must deserve the red carpet treatment. Would love to be able to try out some crafty goodies – especially K & CO. I look forward to the Craft Days with baited breath and and a battered credit card…

    I’ve been looking to buy a couple of the Martha Stewart punches for about a month now, but there are so many fab designs that I’ve not been able to make a final choice as to which I would buy. Hopefully this TSV will resolve that issue!

    I want to be a ‘tester’ too, but not in crafting. I am not a big crafting fan. If you need someone please email me!

    I would love to test some of your TSV’s or products. Sadly I have never been invited to any special events or asked to take part but would love the opportunity.

    Well done to the lucky samplers who made some lovely cards with the kits.
    I’m really looking forward to seeing this TSV and especially the craft day one with Tim Holtz. I love all of his products please can we have them more regularly.
    I would also love to take part in giving my views on products.

    Ditto to all the earlier comments. Whilst I have been invited to attend a craft customer event [also a fashion one but couldn’t attend] I would love to become a tester for new products be it craft or others [ESPECIALLY GADGETS]. I am known as the gadget queen and I, like all the others who have commented, have spent a fortune over the years with QVC. I also post comments on products purchased and one comment [whilst never actually published] resulted in a “gadget” being withdrawn for modifications due to health and safety issues! I would love to be a QVC guinepig – how about it??
    Here’s hoping.

    i would also like to take part in testing todays special value but don’t now how to begin

  37. Barbara Partridge February 9, 2010 at 11:20 pm -  Reply

    I agree with all the above comments and like everyone else would like to be able to test TSV in advance. I was once invited to an event but as I had 3 elderly dogs at the time and no-one to look after them there was no way I could attend with an overnight stay. Events outside of London would be great and easier to get to and find somewhere pet friendly to stay at (own to one dog now sadly).

    Yet another wonderful craft item brought to us by QVC. Im sure i can say this on behalf of all the qvc crafters we just love all the new items you keep on bringing us and would like to say Thankyou so much qvc. Since having cancer qvc has kept me very busy but then the charities are very gratefull to as the cards are only as good as the material you can buy. Maybe one day i will be lucky enough to be selected to try out some new products before they go to air i think it would be so much fun even if qvc want to have the product back.

  40. Pam Hackett February 10, 2010 at 6:11 am -  Reply

    I have been a long and loyal QVC Customer and too wonder how you are chosen to test TSV products before airings. Whatever the process, I would like to join “The Club” – come on QVC – give us the information please.

    I am lucky enough to have just been bought the TSV, I stayed up especially to watch it.The punches look very detailed and will add lots of dimensions to my card making. Thanks for my birthday present Qvc, and thanks Sis for spoiling me yet again. I,m now looking forward to receiving it.

    I came to this page hoping to see reviews of the Martha Stewart punches. Instead it’s a very, very long list of people moaning and complaining because they think they’re extra special and should get freebies. I’m agog-how ungrateful are people-have you forgotton Haiti already? For a company of QVC’s size they must have thousands of ‘loyal’ customers. It’s likely that ‘testers’ are drawn out of a hat so to speak but personally if I chose people for ‘freebies’ I wouldn’t choose any of the above who have complained and even gone so far as to say QVC shouldn’t mention they do freebies. I for one think it’s great some people get a chance to try things and don’t for a moment think I should be chosen-why would I be chosen anyway-am I special because I spend money? Nope-just like everyone else. The people who are chosen seem to be grateful and so currently QVC’s policy (whatever it is) seems to be working-long may it continue and freebies given only to people who’ll be grateful, well mannered and happy about it!

    Just add my name to the above , how do the privilaged customers do it , have heard some get to the open days several times i.e. Indigo Moon , Diamonique , Kim & co etc and they get to see all the fab jewellery which I might add I spend a fortune on, so come on QVC some answers please.
