Re-create top celebrity beauty looks with QVC

Beauty MonthWith Beauty Month well underway, we thought we'd try to find out the latest on the nation's relationship with make-up and who we view as the ultimate celebrity beauty queens.

It may come as no surprise that in our recent survey of 2,000 Brits, Kate Middleton was voted as the ultimate UK beauty icon. With more than 60% of the vote, clearly the natural 'no make-up' look is the one for us!

Over half of our responses preferred a clear complexion to bronzed, while a fifth would opt for a nude lipstick over a bold red.

Still, the made-up-make-up look did well in the stakes too with the likes of Michelle Keegan and Rita Ora making the top five. Our ladies admitted to feeling the need for make-up, with well over two-thirds only feeling happy with themselves once their lotions and potions have been applied.

Our Beauty Buying Director, Jo Lee, thinks the research proves how vital make-up is to our day-to-day lives: "Not only does it help us feel more comfortable in our skin, but it's a real confidence booster. Perfectly prepped hair and a clear complexion can really go a long way!"

So where did our other celebs order in the ranks?

Interestingly, our male and female celebrity top fives were pretty similar…
