Honora’s Ralph Rossini talks about Today’s Special Value

35

Ralph Rossini Hi everyone, Ralph here – and I'm really excited to be writing my first blog post for QVC!

I just love this necklace we're bringing you as Today's Special Value, and as it's coming just before Mother's Day, I think it could make the perfect gift for your mum.

It's been a really dreary winter for us all and it's time to start thinking about warmer, longer and more colourful days to come. With this in mind, we at Honora have gone all out to bring you three brand new colour combinations, plus one perennial classic, in one of our most popular designs. I hope you're going to love them as much as I do!

Pastel Lilac One of things I love most about this necklace is that we really have come up with something for everyone. For those of you who just can't wait for summer, we've come up with the Pastel Lilac combination.

We've based the colours on waterliles, and I'm sure you'll understand why when you see it. The necklace has grey, white, kiwi, light golden, lilac, peach, sky blue and violet pearls on lilac coloured stainless steel wire.

Mosaic Blue Then for those of you with a love of vibrant colour we've created the Mosaic Blue version. It just pops with bright colour – cherry, teal, chocolate, indigo, violet, pistachio and black pearls on blue coloured stainless steel wire.

Indigo and cherry are Honora's newest colours and have both become instant favourites.

Sunrise Gold My personal favourite colour option is Sunrise Gold, which I hope will remind you of all the burnished colours of the sky as the summer sun rises.

The mixture of cherry, melon, Champagne, gold and kiwi pearls on gold coloured stainless steel wire is truly sunny and is sure to brighten up even the dullest day!

Tuxedo Silver And finally we've included a real classic in the mix. Our Tuxedo Silver combination boasts white, grey and black pearls on silver coloured stainless steel wire for that timeless monochrome look.

I think you'll agree when you see this necklace and the rest of our beautiful, colourful selection that spring is truly in the air! I look forward to saying hello to you all, so do phone in during my shows at 12am, 1am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm and 10pm – phew, I'm in for a busy day!

Warm regards,
Ralph.

Hi Ralph, fabulous TSV! Whenever you are back I get out my Honora collection and sit and admire it for awhile! I totally agree that pearls are for all age groups. 5 years ago,I wore one of your necklaces for my second wedding (I don’t think QVC sell it any longer-it was quite a large pearl string, with an enhancer with 5 pearls forming a flower, with little gemstones at the centre-really stunning.)My daughter subsequently wore it (carefully,I hope!) for her prom age 16,a friends daughter borrowed it for her wedding aged 27,and my mother-in-law wore it to a ladies night dance-age 74! It’s not the sort of necklace I would wear on a daily basis but it has already earned it’s place in my jewellary collection and my daughter has asked me to leave it her ‘when I go!’. My favourite piece currently are some coin shaped pearl earrings, which everyone comments on as you just don’t see them in the shops.I have bought several of your great value stud collections as presents and they are always greatly appreciated. The only thing I don’t have is a pearl bracelet and that is what I am looking out for now. Thank you for bringing us such a huge choice (and btw, I bought the TSV in Tuxedo!)Keep well, Ralph.

Good to see you back Ralph and yet again you’ve brought us a stunning TSV.The vision of your design team is astounding and despite trying to convince myself I really didn’t need any more pearls, I couldn’t resist the tuxedo silver plus matching earrings. Before Honora, pearls weren’t really my thing but I’m a total evangelist thanks to you!

    Good Morning Ralph
Welcome back to the UK, bought my first Honora pearls last time you were over as a birthday gift for Mum who will be 82 in a few days time. Already given them to her and we both Love them. Watching today’s show. Already bought the set of drop earrings, but just can’t make up my mind over the other things. Too many beautiful pieces to choose from, and it isn’t easy! I hope to see the Rainforest colours in a longer length rope today.
Many thanks for bringing us such affordable beauty! xx

Hi ralph: So lovely to see you again and seems that your visits are more frequent with shorter intervals. Great. I have spoken to you a few times on the telephone and indeed to lovely Jennie by email and has always been helpful to me. You might remember me when I last spoke to you that I mentioned I had just over 100 items of your gorgeous pearls. After today, it’s going to be more isn’t it! I bought the cherry dangle bracelet & the indigo necklace with the rose baroque studs. PLEASE Ralph can the necklaces have extenders on them (Iknow they have on the keshi items) but I buy various lengths of sterling silver chains to put on the necklaces as I do have a larger neckline but could this please be a possibility? do hope you get time to read these comments. We all love you and hope that you had a good birthday in February. Your fan mail here is increasing each visit. Have a good trip to Hong Kong and I look forward to the rest of today. Love you and your pearls.

Sadly won’t be buying the TSV as I don’t like the stainless steel wire they are on – I wanted to buy one of the floating pearl necklaces on the nylon thread for my daughter as a present for winning a scholarship to a school but they have dissappeared – I do hope they have not been discontinued as she will be very upset!
Please, please please can we have some of the regular sets in a 50cm length – I buy lots of earings from you but the 45cm in a necklace is a little too short – I don’t have a chubby neck _I just feel it uncomfortable. I would buy lots of the sets if they were longer!

Hi Ralph – I kept trying to text in the 11am show but my messages weren’t being shown. I’m at home recovering from surgery at the moment and was delighted when I discovered I had some Honora shows to look forward to and cheer me up! I never really cared for pearls much and considered them a little dated but Honora has changed all that with the contemporary designs and colours you bring. I love them! I have ordered the TSV in tuxedo for my mother-in-law for mothers day and the floating hoop earrings in tuxedo and mosaic blue for me! I’d like to see more of your silver ring designs in a size J please – I would particularly love one in black pearl. Your informative and entertaining shows have brightened my day. Tina

hi ralph lovely to see you back here with your lovely array of pearls you never fail to make something new and gorgeous every time you come.I have bought the royal blue necklace and bracelet set could not believe the price you could pay that for a faux pearl bracelet alone. When you were last here i took your advice and went for the midnight in the today’s special value it is i think quite unique the lustre and shine on this colur is particularly beautiful as are all your pearls but the midnight seems to catch the light in a special way i went to see swan lake the other night and wore that necklace. and a lady next to us in the bar asked me if the pearls were real and where did i get the beautiful colour she had never seen anything quite like them i told her they were real and where i got them she is coming to new york next week so i told her where your store is so another brit convert it speaks volumes for your pearls that just having them on someone feels compelled to ask where you bought them. This lady said she does not usually ask people about their jewellery but she could not resist asking me about mine because it was not usual to see pearls in such beautiful colours. So well done Ralph keep on bringing these lovely pearls to us cecilia

    Hi Ralph
Already purchased the tsv in gold and can’t wait for it to arrive. I have only been on qvc less than a year and already have several Honora pieces as I’m a June birthday girl and always loved pearls altho I only had one real piece which was a long necklace that my grandmother gave me some years ago, the rest were faux. Thank goodness for you and Honora as I can now indulge myself and not break the bank. I love the variety of colours and styles, I often wear the stretch bracelets in work and they are such a lovely feel and not “Too Much” I only hope you bring some more Clip on earrings as I don’t have pierced ears and altho I have purchased one pair in the gorgeous teal blue, they were a little expensive ( it probably costs more to make the clips). Will be watching again when I get home from work so will probably purchase more. ( Maybe I shouldn’t watch) Look forward to your next visit.

Hello Ralph, Good to see you again, and glad you’re feeling better. I have ordered the earrings in Sunshine, which go with today’s special value, can’t wait till they come. Is there any way ralph you could bring a 10mm round white pearl with say 1/4 ct equiv diamonique on top similar to item no 696736. They would be absolutely beautiful. I have always wanted something like this, but the ones which I know you can get, are so expensive to buy. Having said that, however, the lustre from Honora Pearls is second to none, I just love them. Take care of yourself, and I hope you are able to make these earrings. jan xx

I would have loved the TSV if it had been in a longer length, a lot of the necklaces are to small. I do however like the shows with Ralph.

    Hi Ralph,
Love your shows and love Honora! I’m a June birthday girl and it’s so true that we love our pearls. Have ordered the TSV in the Tuxedo silver option – shall look forward to wearing it. However, I already know that it will be a little ‘tight’ at 44cm – really wish you had a put an extender chain on it. I will try to buy one from somewhere and try to fix one on myself!
Please try to bring some longer lengths (ie. 46 – 50cm) in the future. Thanks Ralph!

    Hi Ralph
Love Honora, I have quite a few pieces now, but what I really want is a classic 50cm 9ct necklace, 45cms is not long enough. Even a 45cm with an extender would be better. I’d also love a 21cm matching bracelet. Keep up the good work we love to see you at QVC UK.

I bought a pair of earrings from your collectio and was really pleased with them but I can’t buy many of the necklaces as I find the length too short. It’s a shame as this means you can’t buy matching sets. Please could this be rectified.

Would have loved to buy the TSV but the length was too short for me – I always wait in hope of a 55cm-60cm length necklace.
