Ralph from Honora needs a lie down!

Sooo funny this week, I had to share this with you – if you're a Ralph from Honora Pearls fan, don't miss this clip!

Watch out for a couple of other recent funnies on air in next week's blog!
Also this week –
- Cine movies from the old days
- Sally Morgan with Craigy
- Cocktails with Rocker Nigel
- And Debbie gets 'Instyled!

What a fab weekend we had last weekend – our 18th Birthday celebrations bringing a bit of fever behind the scenes. So much that poor old Ralph – half way through his TSV day – got a bit crazy! He went so red I can't tell you – fancy saying that about 160cm pearls. You'd need the 230's for that! Haha!

Have been using my all-in-one Panasonic to transfer some old VHS's lately. One of them comes from 1981 – we used to go to Pontins on holiday and it takes you back to remember the old chalets pictured during this clip, doesn't it?

Behind me on the tandem is brother Glenn – yes the same brother featured on my blog last week at wakeboarding. And thank you for all your lovely comments about him – he's a lovely chap! Funny brother Derek pictured in the doorway at the end too – bless him! Where did you used to go on holiday in the 'old days'?

I got the original cine movies tranfered by a guy who added a kooky organ soundtrack, 'cos of course the old cine films were mute – seems weird that even into the early 80's people were still shooting with no sound, specially considering how technology has come along since then, eh? Now mum's given me a box full of the original films and I'd like to get them done again, minus the soundtrack! Have to find a place that does it I suppose! Any suggestions?

Craig and Debbie at the Christmas photo shoot Also – loved my night out with pal Craigy – we went to see Sally Morgan in Richmond – another fab night of readings and interesting reactions. Whatever anyone says, she's really entertaining. And some spooky stuff once more – as you may know I'm well into all that stuff, and would stick up for her in any debate over how she does it – maybe there are some things that it'll take science another 50 years to 'prove'.

And anyway – some things we take for granted nowadays were poo-poo'd decades back. Who'd have thought at a sub-atomic level we're all mostly space – fields of potentiality – and that a particle of light acts differently depending on whether it's being observed! Hah! Yes OK, I'm a bit geeky when it comes to quantum physics, but believe me, there's a lot more to the 'unexplained' than we'll ever know! In any case, Sally's reading when my dad came through a couple of years back, was fun, even if you ARE a cynic! Here's a reminder if you missed it first time round!

My hair back then didn't look dissimilar from how the Instyler team did it for last week's TSV! I had some comments about how nice it looked and also about some of the funny faces I was pulling, so if you missed it, here's a selection. Now I've got an Instyler and am going to practice doing myself that way!

Cocktails ahoy!
Had another nice friends night out with Rocker Nigel – went to a smashing Chinese in Soho, and had one of the best pina coladas ever! If it'd had crushed ice instead of whole chunks, I'd have been in heaven! Actually it's my favourite drink, and I can't help not yet being a grown up where alcoholic beverages are concerned.

Cocktails It's my ambition to be knowledgeable about wine, but to be frank, I don't even like it that much! Craig was introduced to my alternative 'Malibu and pineapple' – on our night out, and he liked it too! The nearest thing to milkshake and smoothies I suppose! Lol. One day I'll take one of those wine courses – just to try to act my age! Maybe, anyway…

WATCH: Saw 'The Debt', with Helen Mirren and co. It was good, but only got about seven out of ten. Some great performances, but one too many 'coincidental' plot twists – I won't give it away, but if you see it too, put a review below and see if you agree. Loved the cinematography, the mood, the tension, the fear you really felt when you watch crucial scenes. Just let itself down by a few of those story twists. Shame, but glad I saw it.

EAT: went to see a lovely concert with pal LJ up London – more next week – but afterwards we visited Ping Pong on the South Bank and had some wonderful Thai food

I love the special teas they do there – including a jasmine one that opens up like a flower in the glass! Definitely recommended. As I say, come back next week for more about the actual concert I went to with LJ and co.

&# 0160;                                Thai food         Jasmine tea

QVC: finally – do try and join me for several great shows coming up:
Tiffany puppy lamp - Tiffany Style Lighting Friday night (I just bought a little puppy light! Lol)

Marta boot - New shoes show on Saturday – including – WIDE BOOTS! – Marta Jonsson Footwear comes to QVC including 10pm Saturday night – I wore them during my DIY hours midweek and they were soooo comfortable!  (followed by the new EMU TSV Saturday night at midnight!)

Debbie in her Pompoos dress - And of course, including the dress I've been wearing this week – a whole hour of Pompoos fashions – with just me – on Sunday during our 50 Hours of Fashion! It's going to be a great weekend!

Come back next week for some proper bloopers on air – including, if I can get it, the one that happened when a funny noise came out of the steam press iron just as I opened my mouth to talk!
Have a great week.

    Hi Deb
I’ve always liked Sally Morgan and am a great believer. Have you ever seen John Edward? He’s fantastic-although very expensive to go and see. I saw him 2 years ago just after I had a serious road accident. He picked me out in front of the whole audience. He told me my wonderful late Mum was with me during the accident. He also spelt her name out to me-which in no way would he know-being American and my Mum’s name not very popular. Have to admit it has helped the grieving process. He also said he had my late Dad on stage too. There was so much he said nobody else would have known-so personal.Just if you get the chance do go and see him.
    Love your blogs every week

    Hi Debbie,
I met you yesterday at the Diamonique preview between 1 – 2.30 and it was a pleasure to talk to you. I wanted to congratulate QVC and yourself on the way they treated us and organised it all. It managed to be personal and enjoyable and very comfortable, as it was done in such a hospital way and everyone was so very pleasant. Not least Tanya, whom I didn’t speak to personally but enjoyed even from a great distance:) I have never been invited to such an event before and my daughter in law came along with me, and we went on to have lunch and it made for a lovely time. I was the lady who enquired if you could ask Honora to bring the V shaped single row pearl necklace that is available on QVC in the States to Britain, so if you can pursue that tell him he has one order immediately. Many thanks and all the best to you personally. Kim

Debs, Had assumed you had chosen your current location so you could easily stagger back from the Denbies Wine Estate!!
Evidently not, but I bet the pogs would love you if you grew a few vines next year so they could gorge on grapes as well as hoover up all the apples.

Julie – yes I did go to see John Edward once in Hammersmith – he was good with some readings for sure, that night. I’ve actually just booked to see another medium – linda rowntree .co.uk next month – will keep you informed – she’s based in Essex.
ps thanks so much for commenting – do come back regularly! : – )

Nige – (or should I call you ‘Gardener Nigel’ as opposed to my ex, Rocker Nigel?!)- funny suggestion. I just said to nephew Dean today when he was round to help me clear up said apples how Patchy would get tipsy if she ate too many of the decomposing ones buried in the lawn! lol. A funny sight, but like some of my facebook ladies said, a right old mess to clear up when they came out the other end! lol

Nikki – thanks for commenting and I will certainly pass on your request to the buyers. It’s always worth asking the social_media_team@qvc.com to pass on your request to the boots buyers too!
Nice to hear from you – do come back again!

Have never heard of Linda. You’ll have to keep me informed. Have also seen Tony Stockwell and Colin Fry. Colin was ok the first time but the other times was just ok and I wasn’t too keen on his guests. I felt alot was guess work with them. John Edward I was well impressed.
    Take care

oh, having never posted before today I felt I just had to post again because I too recently went to see Sally Morgan, the week everything was in the papers about her being a fake and she addressed that straight away and said how she has to wear her hair differently now, it can’t cover her ears so that people can see she only has a mike attached and nothing going into her ears feeding her information – although quite where the information would come from who knows cos how would anyone else know anything about anyone in the audience? Anyway I’ve seen Tony Stockwell, Colin Fry and a really lovely lady called Nicky Allan – an ex police officer so she questions everyone! Also Essex based but does do lots in Kent close to where I live. My daughters and I have been to quite a few since my husband passed away at Christmas last year – it helps. Funny how Sally picked up on your dad liking kids Debbie, I remember him from Links Road, as far as I can remember we all loved him there! Anyway, sorry to bombard you with messages in the same day – I just saw your comments and that you’d seen Sally Morgan and really wanted to say. Sharon x

I’m not surprised you got lots of compliments Debbie – then again you’ll be used to them are you not?? I’m normally a Julia Roberts regular on Julia’s blogs but you are quickly becoming another one of my fave’s. I’ll be back as someone once said!!
    Have a great weekend xx

Sharon! Links Road? Which year were you there? Or rather, when’s your birthdate then? Were you there when I was there? We left November ’69 to move to Morden Farm Middle School when dad’s caretaking took him to Merton. Yes – I agree thoroughly about Sally Morgan – as I said previously, unless anyone can speak to us through their telly, it’s impossible to pick up anything in earpiece via a microphone so whoever claims that about her is talking rubbish! But we all know that anyway don’t we!
You’ll have to hook up with me on facebook to tell me more about those other mediums/ psychics – I want to see what they have to say about the future as well as the past and ‘the other side’! Fab stuff! lol. thanks for writing – do come back regularly!

Is it 601572? special pricing at the moment too! do come back and comment on here regularly hon!
    best wishes

    Hi Debbie,
Just a quickie, but I had a reading done on FB with Sindra Clairvoyant Medium. She’s on my friends list. The reading was absolutely fab and spot on. She knew stuff about me that no-one else does and she also knew stuff about my late partner too and she told me what he had said to her. It was wonderful so I can highly recommend her but she lives in Lowestoft. She does, however, do readings over the phone and on FB chats. Thought I’d just mention it as she was excellent.
    Love and hugs
    Caz xxxx
