Raise money for our QVC Cares charities

QVC Cares charity tree Our first ever QVC Cares Day is coming up on Wednesday 22nd December where a selection of top brands will choose to support their favourite charities throughout the day.

There will be a Today's Special Value, as always, from beauty brand 'all for eve' that was set up with the sole intention to raise awareness and funds for gynaecological cancer research. All net proceeds from Wednesday's TSV will go directly to this fantastic cause.

Now for a little more about the TSV…

It includes a luxurious allergen and paraben-free bath and shower gel with a refreshing, uplifiting scent and a rich, hydrating body scrub with jojoba beads to buff away dry skin for a smoother finish. Hands are not forgotten with a non-greasy hand cream and hydrate from top to toe with the all-over body butter. Last but not least is a long-lasting lipstick in classic 'Eve Red' created by Daniel Sandler.

Find out more about which brands are supporting which charities and donate directly.

What a fantastic idea. It’s nice to see less popular charities represented. The TSV sounds fantastic. Shall be up at Midnight.

This is a great idea. It would have been lovely to have been asked as your customers about which charities we would like to have seen here. As a mum of a now teenager with autism who I have had to home educate for the last 8 years due to lack of provision I would have loved to have at least had a chance to recommend the National Autistic Society. The prevalence rate is 1 in 100 for those aged 18 and under and the estimate is 500,000 people in the UK that have autism.
I will of course will be watching as it is now the holidays and think the whole idea is something new and worthwhile for QVC.
Could this perhaps be something for every year and could I suggest you ask your customers who their first charity would be. I think it would have a greater impact if customers had chosen the charities.
    Thanks
    Love everything QVC.

A Charity Day is a great idea. However, I’m very disappointed to see that there is no animal charity represented. I personally only donate to animal charities and I think it would have been a bit more “caring” of QVC to include at least one animal charity so that the animal lovers amongst us are represented, and, more importantly, the animals themselves treated with the same care and respect that QVC has chosen to give to humans. I am a regular QVC customer but, I am sorry, will not be tuning in on your Charity Day for this reason.

I think this is a wonderful idea and I shall of course be supporting these charities through QVC. I am a little sad that an animal charity has not been included as they need our help as well. How about dogs for the disabled which helps people as well as animals to name but one very worth while charity.
I hope it is a very successful event and repeated every year with a wider selection of charities benefiting.

Love QVC and how great to be supporting charities, you already do so much for the Breast Cancer Care and now for others too,I know you cant please all of the people with the ones you have picked but maybe next time throw it out for a vote to customers and see what comes up tops, there are so many out there all needing help and each is personal to someone, good luck with it all hope we raise much needed funds I will be watching and no doubt spending, A Very Merry Christmas to All at QVC ,thank you for yet another fab year, Margaretxx

I have to just say that although QVC have not chosen an animal charity here – earlier this year they supplied us with products, to help us raise money for a local animal sanctuary in Plymouth – for which we were all very grateful. So they have supported at least one animal charity that I know of – they just haven’t publicised it. Well done QVC

It is great that QVC is doing its share for the Charities. All Charities cannot be represented, so I am happy to support QVC in any charitable activity. A Charity is a Charity and helping anyone is a good thing.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year QVC.

I have to agree with some of the other Qvc comments, very sad there are no animal charities included,I do donate to other charities, but all my direct debits go to animal charities, these get little amount of donations compared with many other charities and animals deserve the same respect and care as humans in my opinion.
