Hello, I hope you’ve all been well since my last blog. Are you all set to start putting the Christmas decorations up? Perhaps you’ve already started! We will hopefully begin next week, I’m thinking of a blue and gold theme this year, with maybe some rainbow and unicorn baubles, inspired by Izzy’s love of them. I may chicken out, but today I’m feeling brave and fancy something funky as we always do traditional. And seeing as we are going to be feeling festive, I felt bad leaving Lulu out of it, so I put her in one of these!
We also have these cute toys for them to chomp on. Lulu has the Christmas pudding, but there’s lots to choose from and they’re all such fantastic quality.
My mum and stepdad are back from their year travelling around Europe in a campervan, which they’ve loved, but has meant no granny on hand to have the kids! So as she’s back I packed them off to hers for a weekend so I could have a break, I mean, so that they could have some quality time with her.
Mum lives in Wales and we are in London so we often try and meet half way for a handover to save both of us a huge drive. This time we dropped off at Bristol Zoo, which is AMAZING. I can’t recommend it enough, they loved it.
Then to hand back we decided on Burford Garden Company, which was such a beautiful garden centre with an outdoor play area for the kids. It had some beautiful items, but a bit pricey for my wallet! They have gorgeous vintage old cars and trucks dotted about, and inside they sell fantastic plants, and the kids couldn’t believe the size of these lemons!! Neither could we to be honest.
There’s no way any lemons are growing outside at the moment, it’s turned so cold! But look at this, my rose is still flowering! My mum and stepdad planted it outside the house when we moved here and it gives the most incredible roses.
The hat is from Pia Rossini, there are so many colours to choose from. It has a removable bobble and if you get a couple you can switch your bobbles around! If you’d prefer a scarf and hat set then we have this new set from Pia Rossini, that comes in lots of colours and with a gift box, AND it’s half price at the moment!
I had a rare night out with the girls this week, and we went to see an American In Paris, at the Dominion Theatre in London. One of my friends had a family member starring in it and it was a really lovely show. I’d definitely recommend it as a feel good evening or afternoon.
Something else I recommend, is keeping your eyes peeled for the Big Deals coming up this week. We have a lovely long sleeve tunic from Joe Browns.
This gorgeous must have five-piece brush collection from Rio. Great stocking filler for someone that loves a professional finish to their make-up.
