Back in November Keeley, our Elemis guest, asked for your beauty dilemmas. She has answered them below, we hope they help! And don't forget to join Keeley tomorrow when she presents an unmissable Elemis TSV.
Hi Keeley, I'm 25 and have a very oily skin. I use the lime blossom cleanser and lavender toner but not sure which moisturiser to use - the Daily Shine Control or Maximum Moisture Day Cream? Thanks, Bethany.
Hello Bethany,
I would use the Daily Shine Control in the day at first with the SOS Emergency Cream in the evening, this will help to balance the oiliness of your skin. When these finish, you could then go onto the Maximum Moisture Day Cream and Maximum Replenish Night Cream which will help improve your skin’s hydration.
2) I have developed an oily forehead. I currently use Sensitive Facial Wash, Rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser and Balancing Lime Blossom Toner plus Pro-Collagen Marine Cream as a daily routine. I have used the Papaya Enzyme Peel as a mask once a week. It's not just hormonal, it's all the time. What am I doing wrong? Wendy Brown
Hi Wendy,
I think the problem is that you’re using these products in the wrong order. You could try using Sensitive Cleansing Wash in the morning followed by Balancing Lavender Toner. In the evening you would use Balancing Lime Blossom Cleanser, remove with damp mitts and follow with Balancing Lavender Toner.
I would also advise a month's course of Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules and definitely Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream. Twice a week use Papaya Enzyme Peel, which is an exfoliator. Then follow with Tri-Enzyme Gel Mask which, if used twice a week, should help balance your skin as it regulates the oil which is produced in the skin.
3. Can the Tri-Enzyme wash be used in conjunction with Liquid Radiance? Thanks, Denise
Hi Denise, yes the Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash is fine to use with Liquid Radiance and they in fact work brilliantly together. Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash can be used with any Elemis products.
