If you were following all of our news and gossip live from LA during the Oscars, you would've heard the latest from ShowBiz editor, Chrissy Reeves who went along to LA to report back for us!

Here is her story of what it is like to be in LA during the Oscars... 

"With my LA dream now at a close, I thought I’d sum up my final few days in the city of angels and - despite a severe lack of sleep - what an incredible week it was!

In fact, it’s safe to say that I’m truly hooked on Hollywood. But before you go thinking I’m about to turn into one of those stereotypical juice junkie, yoga-loving LA types, I may have been reluctant to board my jet plane at LAX, but by the time I’d got through customs at Heathrow, I was ready to brace the minus temperatures, ditch my sunnies and return to normality…

Friday

After my starstudded QVC party which saw me schmoozing with the likes of Nicole Ritchie, Heidi Klum and Miranda Kerr and heading to uber exclusive club Soho House for more schmoozing at a Warner party with Leonardo DiCaprio, Bradley Cooper and Oscar-winning star Ben Affleck. After such a starry 24-hours, I didn’t think Tinseltown could offer me much more, but how wrong I was!

Live news: All the action from the star-studded QVC party

Last night started in true Hollywood style after a Rolls Royce arrived to take me to exclusive members-only club Soho House.

Feeling just like Cinderella, I departed my carriage and headed upstairs towards a bar with the most breathtaking view over LA. The first familiar face I spy is Brit socialite Tamara Beckwith along with her family - if it's good enough for the Sloane set, it's good enough for me!

As a rather dishy barman whipped up a dirty martini, it was time to mingle amongst directors, models, actors, and basically the Hollywood jetset who were out in force! After a delicious array of culinary delights, I bump into another face from back home - Sid Owen. After a brief catch up, I headed home - well it was 12am and after arriving like Cinderella I may as well try and leave like her...

I awoke this morning full of anticipation, tonight was the big night of the QVC red carpet extravaganza, but before I could even think about getting ready I needed to fit in another OK! photoshoot with hot director, actor and musician Neil Jackson and his stunt double/author girlfriend Kai in their beautiful apartment deep in the heart of the Hollywood Hills.

Will: Tova Borgnine talks Oscars!

The world loves a red carpet! London has recently been awash with stars flying into the capital for the BAFTAs. 

This week, the big screen players will be flying Stateside to the west coast, for the 85th Academy Awards (aka The Oscars). 

One lady who's no stranger to the red carpet is QVC favourite Tova Borgnine! I caught up with her recently to talk about her late husband (Oscar winning actor Ernest Borgnine), those tricks to getting red carpet ready AND James Dean, take a look below...

News just in from OK! magazine editor Chrissie out in LA

As Will has already mentioned, we've sent showbiz editor Chrissie Reeves out to LA to get to the heart of the red carpet action this weekend! This is her first report back - stay tuned for more showbiz gossip over this weekend...

"Ignoring or in denial about my impending jet lag on my first night in LA, it was a case of slathering on a coating of Elemis marine cream, donning my LBD and a coating of pillar box lipstick and I was ready for my first party of my jam-packed Oscar weekend.

First stop was the iconic Beverly Wilshire hotel (yes the backdrop for the Pretty Woman movie) for the Mont Blanc party. With a glass of Laurent Perrier Rose thrust in my hand, it wasn't long before I felt quite at home, star spotting, working the room and enjoying the Oscar buzz. Louise Roe (TV presenter, model and fashion journalist!) was kindly hosting the event and was the hostess with the mostest, alongside her rather dishy new fiance, Josh Slack... cute couple alert!

Showbiz editor for OK! Magazine jets off to LA

"After suffering three nights of insomnia due to my pure, unadulterated (5-year-old on Christmas Eve style) excitement, I should be exhausted, but how can I be when I’m heading on a jetplane from Heathrow to Hollywood to begin my Oscars adventure? That’s right, the city of angels where dreams really can come true...  

On arrival to the airport, and even when handing over my boarding card and entering the BA First Class Lounge, I felt like I was playing some mad cameo role in a Hollywood blockbuster. A brief exchange with BA steward ‘Sheila’ informed me that it’s ‘glorious sunshine in LA’, before adding ‘it’s got to be better than this endless grey anyway.”

And so, with a spring in my step, I graciously accepted the chilled complimentary champagne on offer (so what if it’s before 9am, airport lounges don’t count). I briefly considered mixing it with some orange juice before dismissing it, why spoil a perfectly magnificent glass of bubbly? Bucks fizz is over-rated anyway.

All eyes will be on the red carpets of LA this weekend as Hollywood hosts the 85th Academy Awards. 

One person who'll be there for QVC is Chrissie Reeves, Showbiz Editor for OK! Magazine. Chrissie is a fab journalist who'll be bringing us all the Stateside gossip by posting blogs on our QGossip pages, as well as tweeting for us too.

Will's weekly update!

Hi everyone, I hope you're well!

So this is the second of my weekly updates, I'm going to be writing them on a regular basis to keep you in touch with all that's going on inside QVC. 

Last week you may remember that I told you I was going to be at St Pancras station on Thursday morning for the launch of something special, it was the Jack French St Pancras clutch bag! He put on a great show and singer Beverley Knight even popped by, see my Jack French blog.

Last Friday was a busy one, I filmed video blogs with Ingrid Tarrant and broadcaster Eve Pollard about some exciting things to come in March. I then scooted over to OK! Magazine's HQ to interview Showbiz Editor Chrissie Reeves, she'll be reporting from LA for us during our Red Carpet event this weekend!

... on Monday morning, he performed two songs from his new album 'Both Sides Now', see my interview with Michael as well as his fab performances on The Morning Show! Michael will also be going on tour with 'Both Sides Now' throughout April and May.
