Peony and their lifelike faux floral arrangements

Julie Bates of Peony with her magnolia treeWhat better time of year to bring you a Today’s Special Value of prestigious RHS-endorsed faux flowers from Peony, than during The RHS Chelsea Flower Show? This Friday's TSV features three roses placed in separate mini decanter vases and comes in a choice of cream or pink colour options.

We caught up with Julie Bates the founder of Peony to find out more about the RHS endorsement on her flowers, and to look around her beautiful house and gardens in Shropshire.

QVC TSV Peony Pink CollectionJulie says…

"I’m very excited about my forth coming TSV, I think QVC customers will adore the set of three varieties of roses they are so, so real. The Royal Horticultural Society is absolutely delighted with these exceptional roses. We worked closely with the RHS to achieve such perfection.

The delicate pink roses TSV option is beautiful with the soft tones of pink which are so real - like in nature not all are one colour, you actually feel like you have to be careful when touching the roses, that the petals will not fall at any moment. Luckily they will not and will last forever. The cream option also has so many different pantones of cream, making them an utter delight.

Ruckley Estate home to Peony founder Julie BatesThe inspiration always goes back to my home and gardens and where the true beauty starts for me - the Ruckley Estate. It's real and holds my absolute passion from the start to finish of nature.

The rose is an absolute favourite flower of so many of us; at Ruckley we grow many, many breeds of roses and our friend and neighbour David Austin (the world famous rose breeder) also inspired me with their old varieties.

As did the incredible rose garden at Wisley where they feature over 150 varieties, so when in bloom in the next few weeks will boast thousands of stunning blooming roses. A visit to Wisley in June is a must!!

Julie Bates of Peony by the fountainI decided on the types of roses for the TSV in celebration of The Chelsea Flower Show because they all hold exceptional beauty; they are our favourite roses from the gardens at Ruckley and we have copied them in every detail resulting in ‘cut straight from the garden’ roses.

Each have a unique botanical elegance, but also can been displayed together. If you want to give your room that professional finishing touch, look no further than these roses for an elegant, sophisticated and most impressive look.

QVC TSV Peony Cream collection"Everyone who adores their garden will fall head over heels in love with them and we have even added three tall decanter vases to hold and perfectly display their beauty. This is a very current interior designer look; tall, elegant vases holding tall moving roses. I often do this at home with real and faux flowers and because the flowers are not set in the vases customers can achieve a versatile look themselves.

About Peony

Peony the brand is born from the Ruckley Estate in Shropshire where all the flowers are hand finished and arranged. This is my family’s beautiful estate where we have 1400 acres of stunning Shropshire countryside with stunning gardens (see images), where I take so much inspiration from.

Peony is the only faux flower company in the world to be endorsed by the RHS for our botanical excellence, meaning that every flower is as close to its real life counterpart as it can possibly be. This is where my team and I have worked so hard to create the look, the feel and the movement of each stem, leaf and petal to be just as nature is."

Be sure to tune in on Friday 23rd May for Peony's latest Today's Special Value offer.

Have been gutted by Peony flowers. I live in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK but unfortunately Peony will now NOT deliver to Northern Ireland. I have already purchased 2 peony items via QVC which delivered to my home address with no problems. However on ordering more as gifts they have now refused to deliver saying they have never devliver to NI and won't in future. ???????????????

Hi. It looks like the peony TSV is this Friday 23 May not next month as stated by the article.

Hence why the date was incorrect! lol..

I'm confused. The 23rd June is my Birthday and this would be a lovely treat, but it is a Monday - not Friday. Can someone please confirm if it is the 20th or 23rd. Thanks

Hi I really love Peony's flowers and arrangements though unfortunately I cannot purchase as they are not delivered outside UK.
