Want radiant, glowing skin with a flawless finish and subtle flush of colour in your cheeks? The Laura Geller Today’s Special Value collection launching on Sunday 9th February is the answer. From primer and foundation, to lip colour and blush the collection has everything you need to spring clean your make-up.

We asked make-up artist Sarah Jagger to cast her professional eye over the collection and give us her verdict. Sarah has worked with top designers and celebrities, creating flawless looks from the runway to the red carpet. Here she gives us the insider info on how this TSV make-up collection can make our dull winter skin glow again!

Sarah: We’re all looking forward to seeing Laura over this side of the pond again for what is set to be an incredible Today’s Special Value!

Long before Laura Geller and I became friends, a make-up artist colleague of mine introduced me to Laura Geller Cosmetics. Like most women who try Laura’s unique baked make-up formula, I was amazed by how creamy, fresh and youthful skin appeared after application. I noticed with my clients that it didn’t matter whether I was working on a young model, a male sports star or a more mature actress the results were always flawless looking skin.

Not only are the results dramatic, application only takes a few seconds. As a make-up artist (and a time-poor Mum) I know how valuable time is. When I realised Laura’s products made me work faster and achieve flawless results I immediately added the products to my professional make-up kit.

There are always new products to try too. Recently I was lucky enough to try the Today’s Special Value collection; a five-piece collection that includes primer, foundation, lip, cheek and eye, colour and brushes. I now use these products everyday...

The Collection:
1. Spackle Primer in Ethereal
Winter can play havoc on our skin, dulling the complexion and making it less radiant. The Today’s Special Value collection includes one of my favourite products for this time of year – Spackle Primer in Ethereal: an under make-up primer to revive and re-texturize the skin for a flawlessly smooth finish while extending the wear of your make-up! Packed full of skin loving antioxidants and Aloe Vera, this primer has a subtle pink hue to put the luminosity back in the complexion.

2. Balance n Brighten Foundation
At the heart of the collection is Laura’s iconic Balance n Brighten Foundation in your choice of shade. I’ve always been such a fan of Balance n Brighten because it truly is the only foundation I’ve ever found that doesn’t need to be colour matched exactly. It really is as simple as selecting between four shades and this clever baked formula will intuitively adjust to match your complexion.

3. Apple Custard cheek colour
Everyone is going to love the Baked Brûlée in Apple Custard - a cheek colour with swirls of long-wearing baked pigments in warm bronze, nude and medium. Not to mention the Baked Eye Stripes in Plum Torte (three stripes of eye shadow: ballet pink, medium taupe and deep purple), which are the ideal neutral hues for day-to-night looks and special occasions.

4. Cherry Almond Luscious Lips lipstick
I’m so often asked to recommend long lasting lipsticks and this Today’s Special Value collection contains the ultimate long-wear answer to the perfect pout: Cherry Almond Luscious Lips is a pinky nude colour with an incredibly weightless look and feel.

5. Large retractable Kabuki brush & mini double ended shadow & liner brush
As a make-up artist, I understand the importance of good brushes. They are very important to the work I do and I love both the brushes included in this collection; the mini double-ended shadow and liner brush and the large retractable, angled Kabuki Brush - a perfect partner to the Balance n Brighten foundation.

We would love you to join us when we showcase this incredible line up of beauty must-haves. The Today’s Special Value collection is perfect for anyone who wants versatile, wearable make-up shades and is in need of a make-up ‘pick-me-up’.

Laura and I will be sharing our tips, with quick and easy ways to use these soft and bold colour combinations to allow for universally flattering looks, both day and night.
See you then!

We'll after using Laura Geller makeup now for a few years I also ordered the tsv baked collection unfortunately I have still not received my order 8days later and still waiting. Rang qvc this afternoon only to hear that my order has gone missing and because the tsv sold out that same day I now won't be receiving one. Was so looking forward to receiving especially as my current foundation is running out. GREAT SERVICE QVC.

Received this collection two days ago, and after having the opportunity to try it all out I can now confirm it lives up to my expectations of Laura Geller make-up! I am sorry the 67-year-old lady found it too shiny - I am 74, and have no trouble with it. Perhaps individual skin-tones make the difference? I am very fair, and use Fair Balance and Brighten (to the extent that I try to have at least one 'spare' available, as I dread seeing it 'On Waiting List'!) I have other Laura Geller blushes, but find the new Baked Apple absolutely perfect. Being fair I have to be VERY gentle with blush, but find this so subtle it is a pleasure to use, and looks natural on the skin. Also thrilled with the Spackle - I have two (!) others - Champagne and Neutralizer - both in the large sizes, so this smaller tube will be an ideal holiday pack. Spackle is THE primer for me - keeps the make up on my skin, not absorbed into it. Do you get the impression I'm a fan?? Laura's make-up I find just perfect for my older skin - I get frequent compliments on my 'lovely complexion' and no-one seems to notice the make-up, where other liquids and creams can be obvious - a nightmare on thinner, aging skins. Loved the set - thanks as ever for the swift service, QVC!

Hi Sarah
I am a wee bit confused (it doesn't take much with me lol).

Your description of the Apple Custard cheek colour is

*a cheek colour with swirls of long-wearing baked pigments in warm bronze, nude and medium*, yet the description on the QVC UK site is

*swirls of long-wearing pinky beige baked pigments blend together for a silky-smooth blush that imparts an even, soft pearl finish*

Could you clarify which it is?

Kind regards

Jackie xx
