Designer Renee Greenstein on her upcoming TSV

Attitudes by Renee and Women with Control TSV sketchesThis month, designer Renee Greenstein showcases two great Today's Special Value offers on QVC.

Earlier this month saw a pack of two stylish crop trousers from her Women with Control range and this week we have a gorgeous sequinned twinset from her Attitudes by Renee collection. We caught up with Renee to find out more...

Tell us about your two fashion brands
I started my Attitudes by Renee collection because I wanted to create a sophisticated and affordable take on the latest trends and designs. My inspiration for this line comes from the full spectrum of fashion: from the high fashion runways to everyday woman.

My Women with Control line is comprised of styles created in various revolutionary stretch fabrics that smooth and support in a way that renders shape-wear unnecessary.

This TSV is perfect for every Wardrobe Warrior. It's a two-piece set featuring a beautiful dip dye cardigan and sequined tank set that streamlines your wardrobe.

The items in this set can be worn together or apart, making it a smart addition to your wardrobe. The sequin embellishment on the tank adds wonderful color and texture that complements the beautiful ombre effect on the cardigan.

Colour inspirationHow would you wear them?

I would actually wear the set with my Women with Control cropped trousers. The cropped pant and twinset is a classic look with a slightly retro feel. I would keep the accessories light and let the sequined tank do all of the glamorous work. Finish this look with a great wedge and a large tote for a fab spring outfit.

What inspired the design?
I was inspired by the Spring/Summer runway shows for my Attitudes by Renee set. I saw great use of sequins to invoke texture, and to turn classic day pieces into items that can be worn out at night.

What are the key trends for Spring/ Summer 2013?

One of the key trends for Spring/Summer 2013 will be outfits with a splash of colour. After a season of colour-blocking our looks, it’s time to refresh our outfits by building them around one bright and bold colour. One way to do so is to pair an Attitudes by Renee twinset in purple with a white cropped pant.

ReneeWhat are your wardrobe fashion essentials?
The pieces I consider to be fashion essentials are: a great cardigan, fabulous sunglasses, and a silk scarf. I believe that there are certain classics that should be kept on hand all year long, such as a pencil skirt, a slim-leg pant, a boot-cut pant and a cropped pant.

Look out for the Attitudes By Renee Today's Special Value coming up on 18th April.
