I have recently bought the Lenovo Laptop from QVC. Yesterday everything was installed and I started to use it for the first time. Great computer and a lot faster than my old one. Experienced Windows 8 for the first time and as the presenter said try to embrace it which I have done. The only problem is industry has not. Tried to get HSBC internet banking on the app for Windows 8 and surprise its not there on any of the banks. Most of all QVC does not have an app for Windows 8. If you are going to sell products with Windows 8 then I think you should lead by example and produce one.

when is QVC going to get in the real world, and start selling Linux based computers. much better than windows and more secure.

I have the i5 ideapad with usb3 and its incredible

on a flyer received with an order from QVC, the lenovo tsv was said as being the lenovo ideapad yoga ultrabook. Why has this changed? An ultrabook would have been a change from numerous laptop tsvs.

This will be interesting. The last laptop TSV, the Samsung 15.6 inch model which I bought and love, received poor reviews (it's currently 3.1 out of 5 stars). This was only a couple of weeks ago.

In fact, this was unfair to the laptop, as people were really reviewing Windows 8, which they hated, not the laptop itself.

Presumably, then, all those people who hated Windows 8 on the Samsung, and returned it, won't be interested in this, or any other current laptop, as they are all now being supplied with Windows 8.

I wonder how QVC is going to address this problem?

Hmm ...
