Our presenters' favourite Christmas photos
As Christmas is a special time for many of us, our lovely presenters have sent us some of their favourite Christmas photos to share with you!
Claire's Christmas photos
'This is a special photo for me as it was the last Christmas I would ever have with my Daddy... not that we knew it then.
We had alternate family Christmases with my Auntie Angie and cousins in Somerset, there was always a house full and lots of fun had by all.
That was before we children had performed our "show" once Christmas lunch was cleared, then presents given out and enjoyed.
We kiddies entertained the grown ups, oh how seriously we took ourselves!
It makes me smile now as Maddie, Tom and Joe have taken over the tradition and last year, they sang, played piano and danced for us...
Oh such wonderful memories of then and now.
Julia- ' The first photo is of Chris and I with our daughter Sophie, aged almost four and my lovely dad. Funnily enough Sophie is holding a doll... a very rare occurence! The second photo is of me with a sweet jar. Judging by the 'old school' TV in the background I think it must have been the early eighties.
Catherine- 'Here are my Christmas photos. There's one of my cat dressed as Santa and one of me at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland last year lapping up the festive atmosphere on the merry-go-round!'
Dale- 'The black and white photo was taken with my brother Darren in 1964 and the other is my first Christmas as a Dad with Ali and Jack aged 3 weeks!'
Kathy- ' These old photos are from 1994 when Bex was three years old and Charlie about 22 months. The angel on the tree was a masterpiece made by Bex at a craft club that I took her to. We use it every year although the head is a little lopsided now. The other photos are of the table set for lunch last year and this year's Christmas tree'.
Anna - ' Here’s a picture of a Christmas stalwart in the Cookson household, the Christmas Crab (not to be confused with the Christmas Carb, that’s the roast potatoes). May your season be full of cheer and crustaceans wearing hats'.
Carmel- ' Here are some photos of Neil and I taken over the last few Christmases'
Merry Christmas from all of our presenters and we hope you have a happy new year!
