Best of British poll - latest update!

We've had a great response to our Best of British poll.

There are some runaway favourites, like Sunday roasts being your favourite meal and Buckingham Palace your most iconic landmark.

But other categories are still being hotly contested, including your favourite expression and most stylish British woman!

I think if you are holding a poll on Britain,it should be remembered there are more parts to this island other than England. Just think if it hadnt been for j.L.Baird you have had to wait a little longer for television. I know we are a little touchy about this subject,but I think with good
cause.
