Just dropped in to tell you that one of my favourite days of the year is coming up - Beauty Day on Sunday 22nd November. It's a day packed full of beauty, what could be better?
I'm so looking forward to our Beauty Day Today's Special Value as it's a Decleor collection which contains Hydra Floral Moisturiser. This product is their world-wide, most iconic moisturiser - I've used and recommended it for 25 years and Fiona has too for almost all her life!
If you want to buy a beauty gift for someone (Mum, wife, daughter etc.), this is perfect as it's great for all skin types.
As well as this, we've got some special-priced items, great gift ideas, presenter wishlists from Julia, Catherine, Anne and Pipa - plus, I'll be revealing my favourite beauty buys on the day and you could win them and more!
Put it in your diary now!
Love Alison x

Hi Alison, just sat down to do my usual Molton Brown christmas shopping on qvc but very sad to learn you no longer stock the lovely shower gels and fantastic liquid hand wash. please bring them back! from Fran, very unhappy shopper.

Hi Alison,
I really love the beauty days you do as your advice is always spot on and you always introduce great results driven brands. It is therefore with some sadness that I do not see Clientele elastology as one of those featured during the day, I also notice a huge reduction in the number of lines stocked plus we haven't had a TSV for some time. Any chance you could speak to the buyers to restore many of the items that seem to have been discontinued?

hi alison
iam a beauty freek and try all the creams i love gatineau decleor and sbc..if it wasn't for qvc great value for money and the tsv's there would be no way i would beable to afford to buy theses products..you explain everything so well and your honest about each item..thankyou for making my skin look better by bringing great items and brilliant affordable prices..i hope you never leave qvc have a happy new year..xxx

Hi Alison,
Just also enquiring about the fate of Prescriptives. Love being able to get it from QVC as it's not in many department stores and I also have heard that it will not be anywhere from the New Year.
Will it still be on QVC...the last TSV was great and I am dreading having to find a foundation which is as good and also a replacement for my super line preventor.

Hi Alison,

Love liz earle,elemis,gatineau,decleor etc.
However I really miss michael dicesare's liqui mousse.
Just can't get anything like it. Please can we have this brilliant product back!
Here's hoping.

Hi Alison, I have listened to your advice for years now and absolutely love qvc for the exceptional value and quality. My favourite beauty brands are Decleor, Elemis, Bare Escentuals, Smashbox, L'occitane and Philosophy (please bring back Lee). I have introduced so many friends now to QVC and would not do this if I did not trust the advice and products you provide. I am another Molten Brown lover, however if they don't think QVC viewers are elite enough for their products then that is their loss. Keep up the good work Alison xx

Hi Alison
I have bought a lot of Decleor from QVC and just recently Gatineau. I do prefer the Decleor though. I was wondering if you could get their lip conditioner back in. I bought 2 and they are just getting down to the bottom and have been really good value

Hi Alison
Can't wait until Sunday, been using Decleor for 15 years. I also loved the Molton Brown Xmas TSV's and I can never get my hands on the Laura Geller tinted spackle. Help please!

Hi Allison
Yes another request for Aveda, especially Blue Malva shampoo and colour conditioner.
I shop with QVC as much as possible, and do object to travelling miles for my favourite shampoo.
I also miss Molton Brown so much , Christmas won`t be the same.
I like the idea of Bare Escentuals large size in Mineral veil. Fabulous bonus sizes on Beauty Days have been great in all ranges, Decleor in particular offering tremendous value. Thanks again, you are much appreciated!

Hi Alison, I've just been reading thru' the emails to yourself and DISASTER. Are Prescriptives leaving QVC? Oh dear what shall we do without them. The superline preventor is a life saver for my daughter and myself. Please tell me more and that this is really just a bad dream. Thanks for your tips and advice on all the problems and products. It's priceless.

Hi Alison,
I am also looking forward to Sunday especially Decleor TSV with Hydraforal! I am also a BIG fan of Liz Earle, L'Occitane and Elemis ( a frangipani/skin nourishing TSV would be my idea of heaven)! However, I also agree with others about MOLTON BROWN, it would be great to see them back at QVC.

Hi Alison
I'm really looking forward to Beauty Day and always enjoy watching your shows. It's a good job there is more than 1 TV in the house as I will be watching all day. I also miss the Molton Brown TSV at Christmas and hope that you will bring the range back. QVC offers great value for money and your customer service is simply the best.
Posted by: Hayley Beckwith | 19 November 2009 at 08:45 PM
Alison
Reading all the comments just in the last couple of days everyone is looking forward to the Beauty Day. I can hardly wait for this week's TSV from Decleor. I am a huge philosophy fan - I have last week's TSV but as with so many others please can you bring Lee back!!
Posted by: Sarah Barnes | 19 November 2009 at 07:28 PM
Hi Alison
I love the beauty ranges on QVC - there is so much choice and the value is second to none. my favourite brands are Liz Earle, Leighton Denny, Elemis and Decleor. The value of the TSV's are amazing. I used to look forward to the Christams Molton Brown TSV aswell - they used to be a real highlight on the QVC Beauty Calendar. I understand it was the deicsion of Molton Brown and not QVC to dis-continue the range on QVC. Your advice is brilliant and it is comforting to know some-one like yourself is able to give good sound advice on beauty. Well done to QVC and also to you. thanks so much. Sue P

Alison,
I love your beauty shows and tips. I also love my Gatineau, and Ultra sun high 30 for my face.
However I don't know were to fit the Ultra sun. Does it go under my Melatogenine or on top. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Hi Alison, I wouldn't be without my Gatineau, Decleor, and Alpha H products, I have been using them for a long time, I use MOP hair products, but i miss the Aveda shows especially the Blue Malva, any chance of Aveda coming back?.I've been watching you for years and learnt so much from you. Thank you Alison

Hi Alison. I'm adding my thanks to all the above and also my disappointment about Molton Brown. The Christmas TSV always solved a lot of my gift problems. I'm being really mean with my remaining stock of MB. Can you please advise on buying the SBC exfoliator. I think it was in a TSV and I did buy two, but I am nearly into my reserve stock and haven't seen it in the SBC shows. PLEASE don't ever stop selling SBC - I couldn't cope without my arnica gel and collagen gel in particular. I also miss Michael di Cesare's liquid mousse. Any chance of getting him back?
Looking forward to Beauty Day.
Best wishes to you and all at QVC - couldn't (and wouldn't want to) do without you.

Have to agree with many other viewers-no Molton Brown at Xmas is a MASSIVE loss. Also would love to see Lee from Philosophy back- also any chance of Daniel from Smashbox making an occasional visit? Thanks Alison for all your advice over the years-now able to advise my teenage know all daughter thanks to you. Regards always.

Please can we have a Bobbi Brown tsv at some point. I love the shows but could do with more up to date products like they have on their counters instead of the same old stuff.

I'd just like to drop you a line to say what an amazing TSV Philosophy was! My parcel arrived today, and as always, Philosophy products are outstanding! I love watching Robin on your Philosophy shows and think she does the company proud! Her presentations for Philosophy are what drew me to buy the products, and now I'm hooked!! With Robin White,Liz Earle and Smashbox, beauty shows have never been so good!! Keep up the good work! Kind regards, Sarah xx

Hi Alison, I understand that as from January 2010. Prescriptives will no longer be available in Store. Will QVC be striking a deal with the Company to still stock the line of skincare and makeup? Surely such a great Brand cannot just dissapear and Super Line preventor banished to the history books!!
Posted by: Anita | 18 November 2009 at 04:54 PM
Hi Alison, really looking forward to Beauty Day! Just like everybody else it seems, I REALLY miss Molton Brown specially the TSV around this time of year. Any chance of getting it back. Try for us. THANKS

Hi Alison,
Can't wait for beauty day, my favourites are Decleor, Liz Earle and Elemis of course, I too miss the Molton Brown TSV,s and Gill "rolling through the snow with polar bears" her explanations of the products were wonderful, and miss her and molton brown on QVC, I order direct from the molton brown website was is not such good value! Many thanks Alison for such great information on skincare your knowledge is second to none, and wouldn't miss your shows!
Posted by: D Mallitt | 18 November 2009 at 04:11 PM
Have really benefited from QVC advice and beauty products over the years I have tried several brands but still love Decleor and Gatineau as reliably providing help for the aged skin!
Yes, I would like to see Molton Brown back and also Aveda. Please see if you can persuade the powers to be to re-instate them.
Posted by: Jess Rowett | 18 November 2009 at 03:26 PM
Hi Alison
Can't understand where Molton Brown has gone from QVC - they were such a firm favourite and always such good value. Please bring it back. Also Lee from Philosophy - love the products but shows not the same without Lee.
Loving the easypayments to - please have lots on Beauty Day - makes Christmas shopping so affordable and love being able to give such wonderful gifts i could not otherwise afford.

Love B E..could they do larger sizes (bigger than 13.5 gram) in the foundation just for QVC?...especially Mineral Veil. Not sure why Molton Brown aren't doing QVC ..maybe to do with the price?...I would of thought it was worth their while, giving the QVC customers a great TSV...coz eveybody I meet and chat to, in the Molton Brown boutiques were first introduced to the range through QVC!.Also Alison, please try and get more professional sizes of everything..it offers such good value, then I can let my daughter and mum have a dib dab..So many of the ranges now are on the high street.. compared to a few years ago..so QVC customers have to have somthing EXCLUSIVE...bigger sizes!!
Posted by: Elaine Dooley | 18 November 2009 at 02:06 PM
Hi Alison,
Please please could we have A'kin TSV. There never has been one. Love the range and I am sure there are other customers who feel the same.
Anita.

I too agree with the comments about Molten Brown products no longer being sold on QVC. I was introduced to them via QVC and bought them for years. In fact it was the first product I bought which has led to the purchase of a huge amount more. I was lucky that at the last MB Christmas TSV I bought four which I have now kept to myself rather than gifting. The reason for their withdrawal would be interesting to know. Jill the guest gave great descriptions of the fragrances which had it not been for her I would never have tried from the titles alone. Still looking forward to beauty day though!

Hi Alison,
I'm really looking forward to Beauty Day, but what I would really like to do and would like some help with is to put together a beauty hamper for my mum for Christmas. She is 63, quite a heavy smoker and has not really followed any beauty regime in the past. Is there anything coming up on Beauty Day that you would recommend me to buy to get my mum started. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Alison, First of all I would just like to make a positive comment about how you never ever forget us women of colour. I am an Afro caribbean lady and in the past I have noticed that many Beauticians never say whether a product is suitable for black or asian skin. However, when you are on air you always clearly state if a product would suit Afro caribbean skin. I would just like to say a BIG THANKYOU from all us women of colour. You are really doing a fantastic job and you have also inspired me to try new products.

Hi Alison, hopefully from all these comments Molton Brown can make a comeback. Arran Aromatics isn't a patch on Molton Brown. Also what happened to Lee Bradley from Philosophy. I really enjoyed his presentations with You. To finish on a good note - I got the two L'occitane TSV's and they are fantastic and superb value. Here's hoping for a Christmas Molton Brown TSV.

Hi Alison,
Can't wait for the TSV on Sunday. I have been using Decleor since I first saw it on QVC in 1994 when I first got digital TV! Love the range. I too am disappointed that QVC don't sell Molton Brown any more as it is my favourite body range. I now have to travel into Chester and pay full price!! I was also disappointed to note that you do not sell many Aveda products either. Any chance of these two great companies making a comeback on QVC? Do your best!

alison, i have learned more from yourself than i could ever have from even a 1 to 1 with a specialist shop. like yourself i am a self-confessed skincare addict that has paid off well for me. you bring us such amazing products and thk you'll find when you offer easy pays people are more likely not to feel guilty about treating themselves especially around this time of year when its tight buying for everyone else. love beauty days and will be in watching the show and what bargains are to be had cos i know it'll be a great day for all us girlies.
