With only a few days to go until the deadline for building the garden, I'm absolutely shattered!
Building a garden for Chelsea is like an endurance test, working from 7am to 8pm every day, but the whole experience is still brilliant.
Events took an unexpected turn
The build hasn't quite gone to plan. On the second day Richard, who runs the landscape side of the business, got run over by a forklift truck and broke his foot!
It means I've been doing two jobs, having designed the garden and now overseeing the build too. It's 24/7! But I've been working with some excellent people - all the guys and girls have been fantastic.
The mood at Chelsea
The atmosphere at Chelsea is a funny one this year - almost eerie. There are less show gardens this time round so it seems quieter. But the Chelsea pavilion is starting to fill up and things are getting livelier.
We're nearly there with the planting, and things are falling into place. I'm really chuffed with the poems and oak panelling, so overall I'm a happy man.
Fingers crossed for when the judges visit the garden.
Take care,
Adam

good luck with the Chelsea Flower Show, I will be forever rooting for you and also look forward to seeing the highlights on the telly!
