Hi again and thank you for your excellent questions on my recent blog.
 
Summer is just around the corner (fingers crossed) and this month botanicals are very much on our minds with QVC’s garden at The Chelsea Flower Show. Plus, we had our own woodland-inspired display at our London flagship store to celebrate the annual ‘Sloane In Bloom’ event in London until Tuesday 26th May.
 
So, how can you achieve that gorgeous skin bloom for summer? Well, I’ve been busy working with our team behind the scenes here on the Isle of Wight to bring you a really special TSV on Wednesday 27th May. It's one that will help you achieve skin that’s in tip-top condition and ready for showing off!

Meet the founder of Skyn Iceland - our new beauty brand

We're excited to welcome new beauty brand Skyn Iceland to QVC. To find out more about this new range and to pick up a few beauty tips, we caught up with the founder Sarah Kugelman...

Tell us a little about the brand

About 15 years ago, I suffered a major health crisis - I was under so much stress that it virtually wore down my immune system and I became critically ill. During that time it also wreaked havoc on my skin.  

I later decided to take leave and spent 18 months researching the impact of stress on skin so that I could create a beauty line that would address its effects.

I discovered that stress can affect the skin in five ways: increased breakouts, irritation, impaired immune function (leading to dullness and lack of glow/radiance), premature ageing and impaired lipid barrier function (leaving skin dry and dehydrated). So I developed Skyn Iceland specifically to help these five symptoms. We are a great line for daily use, especially on more delicate and sensitive skins.

QVC Garden wins silver at the Chelsea Flower Show 2009

QVC is thrilled to have won a silver medal at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show! The finished design looks great, as you can see from the image of the two dancers (left) performing in the garden.
