Rosemary Merry shares her craft tips

Craft Day is coming up on Sunday 3rd May and to get you in the mood Rosemary Merry (left) has put together a couple of craft projects for you to try at home.

Catch her on Craft Day this Sunday at 8pm in Scrapbooking with Rosemary Merry.

To create the page you see here (right) I used a Christmas-themed craft collection - 585966.

First I trimmed 2cm from two sides of the blue snowflake paper and adhered it to the mottled lilac sheet.

I stuck down a number of the pre-cut squares of decorative paper, intentionally not making them straight, and adhered some of the vellum word stickers randomly to a number of the squares.

I used the same mottled lilac paper for my photo mat as I used for my main background.

Once I had attached my photo I used die-cut letters and stickers for my title, and ribbon and chipboard pieces to give some dimension and texture.

Andrea McLean, from ITV's Loose Women, was invited to attend the awards by QVC. To complement her black floor-length dress, she opted for a dazzling Tacori Epiphany Diamonique bangle and matching Tacori drop earrings.

Revealed: The winner of our Elemis competition

Thanks to everyone who entered our Elemis competition to win a fantastic spa treatment in the Elemis flagship spa.

QVC designers reveal their BAFTA jewellery looks

The buzz of the BAFTAs is at an all time high as QVC are the official jewellers for the 2009 award ceremony. We caught up with designers Tamara Beckwith and Tania Bryer as they reveal what they'll be wearing on the red carpet…

The BAFTAs is always such a glamorous and exciting occasion so I've chosen a simple yet elegant red Gucci dress to wear on the night. It's full length and has cleans lines making it the perfect outfit to showcase my jewellery selection.

I've chosen my new fabulous sun dial watch to wear. It comes in gold and silver with diamante stones around the face. It is a stand out piece and the BAFTAs is definitely the right occasion to premiere it.

I'll also be wearing my new fab earrings which are big hoops intertwined with diamantes on them. They're big, sparkling and very glam!

On BAFTAs night I'll be wearing a midnight blue dress, so I've opted for the white diamond look. From my own Diamonique collection, I have chosen a new simulated sapphire cushion ring and a drop dead gorgeous simulated marquise diamond necklace.

Lots of my friends wear my range and with the show-off pieces they can pass them off as the real thing! It makes us laugh secretly that people presume it's all real.

QGossip went behind the scenes at the BAFTA Style Suite where an array of glam jewellery was showcased for the stars. Here we caught up with Lucy Benjamin, a guest at the awards, getting style advice from our very own Glen Campbell…

What are you wearing on the night?

I have two outfits to choose from - a floaty Matthew Williamson number or a very structured black Vivienne Westwood dress. Glen has advised that I go this fab Frank Usher necklace with the Matthew Williamson number. It's a real statement piece and very brave of me! He's also suggested these gorgeous bamboo hoop earrings and decorative snake bangle. If I could get away with wearing both outfits I would!

How do you prepare for an awards ceremony?

I start off with a spray tan a few days before for a natural glow and then on the day I'll have my hair styled and do my make-up myself - I love Benefit products. I start a couple hours before I'm due to leave so that I'm not rushing. If I tend to do too much in advanced I get very anxious, so keeping calm is the key.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the night?

I'm really looking forward to seeing June Brown who's up for an award - she's fabulous and such a character. Also, Stephen Fry who I've worked with in the past - he's totally charming, one of the nicest men you could ever meet.

I've picked this vibrant lapis lazuli bangle to complement our Today's Special Value pendant. I think it's beautifully crafted, not too chunky and has the most intense colour - utterly stunning!

As I'm presenting both the Grand Opening and Grand Finale shows, I'm lucky enough to get two picks! My second choice is this really unusual diamond and sapphire pendant. All the sapphires are held between pieces of glass so they move around freely, something I haven't seen before.

Pearls are one of my favourite gemstones and are a classic choice that works with any outfit. I love the pretty and gentle colour combination of this pearl necklace - it's so feminine. And the long length makes it very versatile in the ways you can wear it.
