If you've been tuning in to QVC over the past week you may well have seen our ads for Holi, the Festival of Colours.
Well, in case you were wondering what it was all about, read on!
Holi is the traditional Hindu festival to celebrate the return of the spring, and is marked right around the world. The evening before Holi, bonfires are built and lit to drive away evil spirits.
On the day of Holi itself, everyone takes to the streets and celebrates! The highlight of the fun is the throwing of coloured powders and anointing each other with colourful paints - soon everyone is coloured with all the shades of the rainbow! Holi is a day to get together and have a good time with your friends and family.
Here at QVC we're marking the day with shows packed full of Indian-inspired designs that really capture the colour, vitality and creativity of Holi. There's eye-catching fashion and intricate handmade jewellery featuring the finest Indian gems. So tune in on Wednesday 11th March to celebrate!

I watched "Holi" day and it brought back memories of my childhood days spent in India. It was lovely to see Pallavi wearing a sari.
The "jewels of Jaipur" show particularly struck a chord , as I had most of my education there.
