Hi Julie, I have printed your Christmas cake recipe for this year! I may even try it mid year as my hubby loves Christmas cake any time. What I was wondering about is the temperatures, are they for a fan oven? Would you believe that I have never made a Christmas cake since I was at school and I am now 62? Thank you for being a trusted presenter at QVC, you explain things so well and I know that you do not say anything you don't believe youself. Have a great 2009.

Luv Lesley

I will try and bake your Christmas cake for 2009 - I BOUGHT a cake last time and it was not that good - although I ate most of it which is why I bought the pilates machine tonight. I had ortho surgery last year and although I have spent many pounds on a gym membership I have hardly gone because I feel unfit and fat - 21 pounds to lose!!!! I hope this will give me the ideal low impact workout and regain my shape (waist, where are you?).
You and I are the same age and I love your presentations because you address a good deal of the issues I am dealing with, and they are VERY HELPFUL!!
Happy New Year to you - may 2009 be a good one Julia!
