Claudia: What a week!
I have had such a hectic week! My little boy Blake has had an ear infection and has not been sleeping very well. So, Steven and I have been taking it in turns each night trying to pacify him.
It really breaks my heart to see him suffering because as a child I had terrible ear problems. It actually resulted in me losing my hearing in one ear, although a lot of that was to do with too many horse riding accidents.
With a lot of TLC he’s on the mend and chatting away to us about his beloved Spider-Man.
Where can I get some great Spider-Man goodies for Blake this Christmas? Spider-Man’s not that popular at the moment but Blake is obsessed.
If you know of anything, do let me know.
I'll be in touch soon.
Love Claudia x

Dear Claudia, I always enjoy your shows, you have such a delightful charming easy manner. So sorry to hear about your little boy Blake, hope he gets better soon.
You would never know you have a loss of hearing, how sad. I broke my arm 3 times riding - well falling off really - but luckily have no long term effects.
I don't know if you've heard of Freecycle? It may be a chance for you to find Spiderman stuff. Freecycle is an online group in most areas which tries to reduce landfill wastage by members giving away things they no longer want, and includes a chance also to ask for things you want. It's amazing as I have started the long process of decluttering my house and have been able to get a few things I really needed just for the cost of petrol.
There should be a group in your local area - I live in Slough and as well as their group have also joined the Windsor and Maidenhead group. I think if you search the web for Freecycle, the relevant info will come up. Groups are moderated by volunteers and very well run.
I love the ring you designed - will try to get it next year when I'll have some spare cash.
Best of luck and thankyou for great shows,
regards, Kathryn xx

Oh poor little Blake, he'll be right as rain by the time you read this. They get better just as quick as they get sick these little ones and with you as Mummy, even quicker. I marvel at how you can look so fresh and bright with three children to take care of. Your next blog should be to share your beauty secrets with us. Take care too and lets see more of you soon.
