Craig Rowe's simple pleasures

Hi everyone!

I love the fact that there are so many great things to do in life that don't cost a penny.

My favourite things to do are spending time with my sister and my beautiful niece. My sister and I have always been close and when the three of us get together we just have fun playing and talking. My niece loves it when I make her toys speak and when we invent silly games!

On a sunny morning I like to have a bowl of muesli whilst admiring the plants in my garden. Then I'll go for a walk in the park. Autumn is such a beautiful time of year, I love to see all the colours.

Things as simple as going for a coffee with a friend is such a nice way to spend an afternoon. I usually do that after my walk in the park.

I love spending time with my elderly grandmother - she is 89 years young! Due to a recent illness, Granny Ferris is now bed bound, but she is still great company. I am never happier than when I am with Granny and chatting with her, or just listening to her stories of days gone by ........ Bless. And she is full of wisdom, faith and grace, as always. She is such an inspiration. x

It's nice to see appreciation for the simple things in life. A coffee shared with friends, a walk in the park or a beautiful sunset. Also the important things,spending time with family and just enjoying being around them. True values.

I enjoy watching you as a presenter on QVC and the stories you tell. I loved the description you gave on the Nostalgia set of Northern nights bedding. The set reminded me of the decor my parents used many years ago, so I had to buy it!

In the Autumn I love to walk through crisp fallen leaves( ok, when no one is watching jump up and down). This reminds me so much of my girls when they were little and we'd walk in the Park and run through leaves and puddles.

Hello Craig I love to take my two young children out and walk to the university and fed the squirrels and watch their little faces kicking the autum leaves without a care in the world! That is priceless xx

I love waking up on a bright day, sitting in my kitchen with the back door wide open, enjoying a cuppa with my neighbour and watching my washing on the line slowly waft back and forth in a light breeze. And till recently watching my beautiful labrador run around the garden chasing anything that moved.

Feed the ducks and swans in the patk around the corner from my home, I've watched them grow all through the summer. I feel I know them, silly me, but it is such fun to watch them diving for the food. It's so relaxing watching nature at its best.

I love to spend time with my two small children....on a day when they are being good that is!! Like the other day I took them to the Disney store and they were so good, I loved it to..mind you they had money spent on them so thats probably why!!! lol x

I like to walk in the hills. To be fair, there is some cost associated in getting to them but once your there all you need are your sandwiches and stamina! The views are glorious and there's always a quiet spot to sit and contemplate.
