Hi everyone,
My favourite thing in the world is to spend time with my family. I'm very lucky as we live out in 'the sticks' by London standards, and I love going for long walks in the beautiful Surrey heathland at the back of our house. It's totally unspoilt and hasn't changed much in thousands of years.
You never know what you'll see out there - one day I spotted roe deer, a grass snake, lizards and an adder. It's also home to rare birds and butterflies, which are lovely to spot. And best of all it's totally FREE!
I used to love walking our beloved Bearded Collie Emma. I would walk for miles and the habit stayed after she passed. I don't see as much wildlife as I used to, primarily because my son Jack never stops talking (can't think where he gets that trait from)! Being out in the open also encourages my daughter Alex to sing out loud - luckily she has a good voice - but the wildlife doesn't seem to appreciate it much.

Hi Dale what a pleasure to know a bit about your background . I enjoy your presenting very much , you are so natural and relaxed and professional with it .
I have been a customer with QVC for some time now and look forward very much to all the programmes. I live in Keith which is a town in the North of Scotland exactly half way between Aberdeen and Inverness on the A96, a beautiful part of the Country named "The Whisky County", where most of the distilleries are. Banffshire as we like to be called but Moray is the name given since regionalisation. Keep up the good work Dale and well may your flag fly for QVC.
