Hi everyone, hope you're all ok. Welcome to my dressing room. It's filled with make-up, clothes and quite a few sentimental ornaments - things that my children have given to me for birthdays and good luck messages over the years. I also have photos of my children, my man, as well as a snap of Debbie Greenwood and me at a Christmas party years ago. I keep it up as she inspires me to make an effort with my appearance every day!
My ritual before I go on air
The only ritual I have before I go on air is to panic that I won't find my earpiece and be late to the studio!!
My dressing room essentials
My must-have dressing room items are Liz Earle's cleanse and polish, Velcro rollers, Bare Escentuals mineral foundation and eye shadows, Models Prefer or Tova mascara and Lipguard lip gloss. Oh and also Elemis' new hand cream, it's fab!
The things I would love to have in my dressing room would be someone to massage my shoulders before and after being on air, a hot tub, a bed so I could nap between shows and a door leading out to a helicopter landing pad so I could be whisked to and from work in record time so I could avoid the M1! As you can see I've given this a lot of thought. Actually, just the chance to spend more time with Kathy Tayler, who I share this room with, would be ideal.

Hi Alison, I likened you to Rene Russo on your Desert Island Products and you still continue to inspire and impress us all. Even my husband who has to be hit between the eyes to identify elegance, agreed that you are the 'epitome of grace & elegance'. I've had a bit of a grotty year & on black days you've lifted the dark clouds & encouraged me to make the necessary effort with my appearance & what a wonderful difference it makes. So thank you again, and finally, I would love to see you and Kathy Taylor on air together. The perfect combo. Kind regards & best wishes, Penny
