I seem to have been given this moniker of electronics and gadgets guru. A lot of the other guys are really well clued up on it too but I do tend to get a lot of tech shows and that's where my passion is, I know a lot about tech. I love the toys!
I haven't done a Bose show for a while but whenever I do they're my favourite because I've got loads of Bose stuff at home.
The sat nav has got to be one of my favourite gadgets because, I think, out of all the gadgets that are out there, it's the one that has made the most difference for a lot of people.
For somebody who drives I just think that it's a must-have item these days. People don't need to be put off by the technology because they're so easy to use, especially things like the TomTom and the Garmin because they're all touchscreen.
They're really, really simple for all the technophobes who, if they get one, will be amazed at how much simpler driving becomes.
I recently got my dad one for his birthday, a TomTom Europe. My parents are both retired so they're planning to go off driving around Europe, so I got him one of those. I got the TomTom one because it's dead simple to use.
I think I'd say to people who aren't fans of technology, who would switch off at the beginning of a technology show, maybe give one a try. I think you'll find that a lot of technology around today is aimed at including those who aren't so comfortable with gadgets. You'd be amazed at the difference some of these gadgets can make to your life.

I completely agree with Anthony that a Satnav is a must have item for anyone who drives, particularly if they, like myself, are not very confident in unfamiliar places. I purchased one from QVC around 2 years ago, now and it truly has made driving a much more pleasurable experience. I do not have to worry at all about where I am going and even though mine is not as easy to operate or as up to date as the excellent ones available now, I am confident to rely on it to take me anywhere I wish to go.
