Ok… how do I do the Elephant?
Every time I am with Marjolein in the studio, she has me do the Elephant and it really works. But, when I do it at home it never seems to feel as though I am stretching enough… I am putting it down to the fact that I am much more supple since I started the Aeropilates but know (deep down) that I must be doing something wrong. However, when I was last in studio with Marjolein, I couldn’t even touch my toes and yet now I can put my knuckles on the floor….. so something good is going on.
So far, although I have put three cords on rather than two, for most exercises, I am still at the beginners stages as my core strength is not quite there. I get to the end om my routine (which is about half an hour long) and just feel as though I am struggling to finish without a wee break!
I’ll get there and as soon as do I am going to try and extend the routine. It is really easy to really see the difference this is making……. and so easy to stick to!
