My Pilates Week 2


It’s going well!  My wife and I are regularly following Marjolein through her routine and are finding it a great pleasure. Both of us have commented that our core strength must have been a lot weaker than we thought and we can really feel the routing firming the tummy muscle and the love handles. What I can feel too, is that my flexibility is beginning to increase and feel stronger.

We are really taking it easy and trying to resist the urge to ‘run before we can walk’ as there are so many new exercises to try, but until the core strength has been established I am happy to stick to the beginners routine.

In addition to our Pilates workouts I have been out on my bike and had lots of good walks with our dog Jamie, so January is finishing well……… and it doesn’t get dark until 5pm now! Woopeee!
