I feel very lucky to have had the chance to visit the Liz Earle flagship store at Duke of York’s Square to have a facial with the lovely Abigail James, our super therapist you will know from on air. My Mum is staying with me at the moment, so we made it a ladies outing – what a treat! Kelly did a fantastic job.
I’m sure all you Liz Early lovers would agree that the products are always a treat to use daily at home, but in the hands of a professional, when being used on you, they are sublime. It makes you notice the freshness of the fragrances and uplifting feel even more. We both left with glowing skin and floated off for a ladies lunch! All in the name of research you understand.
I was excited to try some new things in the bareMinerals collection, having loved hosting the show with Lesley Blodgett last month – the founder of bareMinerals. What a wonderful lady! You know your skin is safe hands with someone like her at the helm!
The bareMinerals Ready Foundation SPF20 is a dream for on the go. I love the handy compact, and paired with the SPF20 Correcting Concealer is a perfect duo. Also the bareMinerals Correcting Concealer SPF20 with Stroke of Light eye brightener is concealer and brightener in one… just perfect!
I have been trying the SPF30 Natural Sunscreen on my little boy. I think it’s perfect for all those mornings when the sun isn’t out and you don’t know if it’s going to appear, but you want to make sure they have something on. The powder – but of course it’s minerals – and unusual integral brush make a nice change from a cream – and the Ultrasun I would always use in sunny conditions.
Looking forward to a Top to Toe Beauty show at the end of the week (Thursday 25th June)
Quick heads up on next week and jewellery! Look out for my Azuni London show Thursday 2nd July at 4pm
I must confess I bought the Cleopatra necklace before we had the first show even. The designer of the range is so talented, and I just love the look. ‘Treasure-like’ opulence with beautiful stones added to give it a refined and luxurious feel. Perfect for the summer!
The Summer Solstice or longest day was upon us this weekend, heralding a great time to start anything new. I’m getting my garden in shape with the globe lights we had as a Today’s Special Value a week or so ago, and I had to consult Richard Jackson on a few issues I was having with some potted trees! Flower Power is on its way! Will post garden pics and an update of my gardening exploits soon!
Hope the weather is treating you well, wherever you are, and that the summer is looking good for you all! Love to hear your news or how you plan to spend the summer?
