… and I’ve just realised that I haven’t bought the turkey!! There’s gammon in the freezer, and Christmas pudding in the cupboard, but I’m praying I won’t have to resort to chicken pieces on Christmas Day!
I have to be honest and tell you that one year I put the turkey in the garage as there was no room in the fridge. It was meant to be below freezing overnight… unfortunately the temperature rocketed and the rather attractive pistachio green tinge that coloured our bird meant drastic measures had to be put in place, hence the chicken pieces. I thank my Girl Guide Training for that one!
I hope you’ve managed to be a little more organised than me?!
I had a cracking two hours at QVC on Thursday night in our Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas and was so impressed with the Fuji camera and the Samsung camcorder that I rushed home and spent a good hour learning how to download all the photos and movies I had on my phone and camera… unbelievably some of them dating back three years! It was incredible to see how much the children have grown even in that short time.
Jack helped me decorate the tree this year, and we’ve even managed to get it to stand straight… last year we wedged it into place with bricks, but it fell at least three times and I’d been assured it was a non-drop tree!!
Once again I thank you so much for your beautiful cards and as I’m not back with you until the 27th December I’ll take this opportunity to wish you ALL a very happy Christmas!
Be good and I hope Father Christmas brings you all you’ve asked for.
