My Begonias have just arrived and I have potted them up as instructed however when they were shown on TV you advised to put them somewhere dark and warm eg an airing cupboard. In the leaflet and on this site it advises cool windowsill or greenhouse with plenty of light. Which is correct please?
Both methods work. I just suggest putting them in the airing cupboard as it gives them a kick-start and, usually, they start growing faster. But it is important to keep a close eye on them as they need to come out of the cupboard as soon as the first tubers start sprouting.
