On tackling wrinkles around the mouth and chin…

Age Benefit Q. Hi Alison, please help I am 62 years old have wrinkles around my mouth and chin and it's getting worse very quickly. Thanks you. Mary

A. You may want to take a look at the Age Benefit Moisturiser from Gatineau. It's featuring in a fab Today's Special Value on Sunday (14th November, 2010).

The wrinkles around the mouth and chin are getting worse because of the fall of the face. This is actually caused by slackening of the face from below the eyes and across the cheeks, which then pulls down the areas of the upper lip and chin so you get folds, creases and even shadow marks.

So if you want to look at an anti-ageing routine for the whole face, the Age Benefit is going to be your best friend because it addresses all the signs of ageing. You can also try the Genie Instant Line Smoother as it will tighten up the look of the affected areas instantaneously.

I would like to buy a skin primer. I have decent skin but at the age of 57 I have some wrinkles around my mouth and some enlarged pores, I tried the Laura Geller spackle but I ordered the dark one in error and as I am very pale it does not really suit. I use all of Laura Gellers makeup but I was considering the Mally primer. I would be grateful if you could tell me which primer in your opinion would be most suitable for me.
My skin is very dry I take care of it with Vichy products which suit me well but I am not happy with my finished look.
I would be most grateful for your advice.

    Hi Alison,
Please can you advise me on the best products for both face and body to help with saggy skin as I would like to lose 2-3 stones. I am 56 and don’t have a wrinkle problem, that may be because I am overweight but I also use Decleor, Gatineau and Elemis moisturisers (whichever is on special offer as I like all of them).
    Thanks for your help.

I have been using Shielo’s Anti-Aging Complexion Moisturizer for 6 weeks now and there is a noticable difference. Many of my fine line wrinkles have disappeared, specially around my mouth. Other wrinkles are less pronounced and visable. Use it!

I am 32 yrs old and while I don’t really have deep wrinkles yet! I use the Olive Night Creme (from Made from Earth) – it does help out with deep creases on the sides of my mouth, commonly referred to as laugh lines. But it has smoothed these out and made a more soft and smoother texture. This even helped out my frown lines as well. Some describe a tingle sensation, but I dont feel that.

    Hi Alison
Can you help me with an alternative to Age Benefit cream, I really love it but I do find it works out expensive, I wondered if the Judith Williams range would be an alternative. I use Elemis Pro-radiance cleanser, this seems to suit me the best having tried quite a few. Also when it comes to sunscreen, should I just use Ultrasun on it’s own or with my Age Benefit or which ever product I replace it with, my age is 57.
Hope you can help, thanks in advance.

    Hi Alison
What is the best thing to use for lines above the lips these appear to be getting worse. I am 63 and apart from this my skin is not too bad.
