On an eyeliner that stays put…

Bobbi Brown Eye Gel Liner and Mascara with Brush Q. Hi Alison, I am looking for an eyeliner that does not rub off and leave a line on my lid. I have just bought the Mally TSV and the eyeliner in that is great but rubs off. Can you advise me on what I can get? Thank you, Michelle x

A. You'll love the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner. If you want a waterproof eyeliner that stays put, this is the thing for you – it's my desert island product.

It's a gel eyeliner and takes a little bit more technique than a pencil liner, but it doesn't move once you put it on in the morning. It's doesn’t even need reapplying.

    Dear Alison
Many thanks for your post. You mentioned that it needs a bit of technique to apply and I am slightly concerned. If I make a mistake how do I rub off? Is it easy to rub off? I use Chennel’s grey eyeliner and it is very easy to wipe off with a tissue and try it again. Please let me know how easy it is to apply as I always aim for perfection at least I try to do my make up in a fashionly manner.
I use YBF eye shadows, YBF blusher, Estee Lauder loose translucent powder, Charles of the Ritz lip liner, Oriflame, YBF and L’oreal lipsticks, YBF, Estee Lauder and Loreal lip gloss, Estee Lauder’s special black mascara, Smash Box Photo Finish Primer, Liz Earl’s Skin Tonic, Liz Earl’s super moisturising cream, Decleor’s Hydra Floral Moisturising cream [yellow tube], Lulu’s Glory Day & Flash Back Night cream, Expression De L’age Estee Lauder liquid foundation, Estee Lauder’s Spotlight, Charles of the Ritz black eye brow pencil, Liz Earl’s Eye Bright, eye cream, Liz Earls’ Super Skin Concentrate [oil], Decleor Aromessence Neroli oil, Liz Earl’s Daily Eye Repair, Elemis Eye cream, face cream [fabulous], Elemis oil [fabulous], Lancome Toner, Liz Earls’ Cleanser & Hot cloth, Clarin’s moisturiser, Lancome’s eye cream for sensitive skin, eye make-up remover, Lancome’s lipstick and juicy juices [glossy tubes]. I have tried all these products. They are all very good.
I need to buy Channel’s primer and Bobby Brown’s eye liner and mascara.
Please advise me. I am an Indian lady and I am 61 on 12th December.
    I anxiously await your reply.

Hi Alison, I love Mallys waterproof eyeliner pencils but when the top has worn down how do I get the colour to ‘come up’ please? I have had 2 now and after a few weeks the pencil is wasted as I don’t know whether a pencil sharpener could be used due to the ‘case’ surrounding the tip. I have also tried to see if I could ‘twist the colour up’ but that hasn’t worked either. Its such a shame as I love them to bits and wanted to order the TSV again and probably the set of 10 pencils. Please can you advise me,
    thank you.

    Hello Chrissy,
I am responding to your Mally eyeliner pencil query about sharpening them. YES, YOU CAN – YIPEEEEE – I did my black one this morning and it was absolutely fine – no damage and just like most pencil liners when it comes to sharpening. GO GIRL!

    Hi Alison,
I have used QVC now for 15 years plus you being the main reason. I value your advise and guidence on products to buy both skin care and make up, you really know your stuff. I would like to become a member of your customer testing using nothing but QVC products I feel I would be in a position to offer appropriate feedback plus I would really enjoy it. Could you advise me how I go about this. Your help with this would be much apprechated. Lilian.
